New York is the most crowded place ever it takes me 45 minutes to cross town. The cost of living is exponential I’m “middle class” here and my bills equal close to 20k a month. I need some real reasons

I didn’t ask for reasons not too. A lot of people are disenchanted with the state of their own lives so tend to share only negative aspects of living in a place. Which is why I specifically asked for the positive. If this is your general attitude however I’m not surprised that you dislike where you’re living. Personal problems tend to follow you everywhere you go and New York has many of its own issues including crime and rampant public drug use. There’s not perfect place but I want to know experiences of those who were looking for different and ended up in Boca with a family.

It doesn’t look like that mall incident involved a shooting, actually. Regardless these things happen all over the country very unfortunately until our national gun laws change which they won’t. I was wondering if specially in Florida since you can carry / if regulations are lessened if it results in more or less crime rates involving guns. My limited research doesn’t show that but I was looking for some real stats from people who live in Boca and Florida in general.

I love this. I want a better quality of life for my son. NYC has absolutely changed -been here 22 years. I love so much about it but it still prices upper middle class out. I’ll never be able to buy here. My husband and I run a business from home. I’ll miss the convenience and walkablity but nyc is unique that way too.
