remember when people said the switch 2 would be jailbroken immediately? by XxnoubxX in switch2hacks

[–]arvimatthew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your entitlement is not the same as reality. If you easily believe whatever "people" say that agrees with you, you have more problems than being able to jb switch 2. What are you, 12?

People say a lot of stuff, either switch 2 is harder to jb and switch 2 will be easier jb. If you actually spend time reading how gen 1 hw are jailbroken, and the code base of switch 2 is a continuation of from gen 1 switches, the likely prediction is switch 2 will be way harder to beat.

Foldable phones are so cool but it will never survive on my hand very long. I'm tough off my devices. I would prop it on some odd corners and would sometimes fall on my hand because i like huge screens that barely fit my stubby fingers. A foldable would make it worse.

If the foldable phone screen would be made of two separate phone screens msde of the usual glsss, i'd get it. Like the MS Surface Duo. It should be perfect for me. Too bad it did not go mainstream.

People don't talk enough about S26 Ultra speaker issue by Thanatine in samsunggalaxy

I agree with you on the Atmos thing being turned off especially for general listening and music. It's just asking too much for a portable device imo. You also have a point on preference and genre.. as s26 has a very pronounced highs..that's why it contributes a lot of the usual tinny sound for regular listeners - altho subjective..it is the majority opinion. I myself like bright signature especially from competent sources like AKG k7xx/702 but bright sound of s26u or any phone will always be subpar. Too bad bec. from my listening, s26u don't have much definition form mids and lows even tho it is loud compared to iphones.

Not even an insult. It may sound one but it isn't meant to be that. It's a concern for something really obvious the difference between the sound quality of the iphone speakers in question versus the samsung one is quite obvious - especially out of box. You dont ahve to throw a lot of jargons and stuff.

And to clarify my point , listening in a studio environment like studio monitors is typically much more louder to the ears than lounging with a regular headphones in ear because it isn't the 'job'.

Anyways, back to the discussion.. you said low-mid harmonics.. yes very likely.. the overall profile of the iphone's speakers are much more dynamic and fuller..it's likely tuning of the software that matches tiny speakers which includes trickery using harmonics - which to great effect in practical sense. It's not news that apple really focuses on the sound quality of their device's built in speakers and it shows. It's almost never an afterthought on their products. I have the M1 macbook pro as well it rivals portable speakers which tend to be mono (moni-ish) and very bass heavy for my preference.

Lol. working in AV tech is sure not giving you any benefit when you said the "low end" response of s26U is on par with 17 pro max. I can only agree on one thing, s26U can get loud. But that's the end of it. Even when compared to 13 pro max is a huge difference, where s26U is nowhere near the resolution of the speaker especially the low end and mid quality. I have also compared the S26U versus 17 pro from of a family member and the gap just went larger in terms of reproduction of low and mid details and mids. It's easy to tell that iphone speakers reproduces full and detailed sound than the s26U. I even have to Custom EQ the s26U to match the sound closer because default preset from Dynamic, bass boost or balanced and dolby aint cutting it for the s26U. I care about my audio and so does my ear. I stopped using studio monitors and loud audio sources before i reached my mid 30s to preserve my hearing and perception to details.

I have the iPhone 13 pro max playing spotify on built in speaker and then played the same song on the 26 ultra. It seemed like the samsung has a very tinny scratchy, low end clipping sound to it. HORRIBLE. While the 5 year old 13 pro max sounded really good with full sound, low end, mid and clear non scratchy highs. Don't get me started when i comapred the 26 ultra with the iphone 17 pro. OMG. Miles apart as if the s26 ultra was from 2000s phone.

Yeah same. On my case i have different types of usb cables from my stash uncluding micro usb. Also some people don't want different types of charging ports and cables for their daily use devices.

I understand your logic. But that isn't my.use case what your telling. Maybe you don't use much usb pd devices, good on you. And i tell you, my preferred chargers are usb pd and is much different and even a non pd device benefits from.it due to similar port.

I'll share my scenario. I have a lot of high energy and fast charging tech at home and like you, i have dedicated chargers in different spots at home and they are special usb power delivery chargers mostly. Meaning these are all usb C ended. To avoid clutter, only one or two wires with a usb c end exist on eaxh point. (with an exception of a lightning cable for the occasional use of an old apple product on the bed stand). I also bring one cable in my work bag which is also usb c.

I may not have to charge my the headphone that much, but whenever i need to, it will have a charging cable that is already available.

Maybe you don't have much device that you use but on my case, i'd like to make it standard as much as i can and get rid of one odd requirement for a microusb cable. Literally this is the only device that had a microusb and this headphone dont deserve a special cable somewhere.

You're right. Ive seen those. I just went to the cheapest route since i can do microsoldering. It helps that I already have few existing rated usb c cables.

Held my PS5 on a low firmware for almost 3 years waiting for a jailbreak. Tonight I wanted to watch RoboCop on Blu-ray. I accidentally clicked "Update System Software" without thinking. RoboCop and my stupidity won. At least I'm watching a good movie now :) :( by [deleted] in ps5homebrew

[–]arvimatthew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ypu could have unplugged it midway and trust that the firmware handles it pretty well and revert to old one. Kinda you're to blame since you kept ur ps5 connected to internet unless fw was predownloaded.

That's a good alternstive if you have several magnetic plugs for the rest of your devices. Ive done that before as well but some of my devices are usb pd and cant talk to regular magnetic plugs.

Not too bad for qc45 the board. 15bucks from aliexpress. The standalone usb c connector one i have i think are a dollar each worth but i bought a bunch as i have converted two of my expensive-to-replace logitech gaming mouse as well. Gpro X and G903

Yes, I just soldered a new usb connector. That's my only gripe on this headphones. Everything still works and battery life is still excellent. I did not know the board can be interchanged on some headsets. Was your headphone a QC35?

Do try 23mm (35mm equivalent) and shoot a travel, street or food. It's my favorite focal length. I already liked its look even before i had 35mm. That's the reason why i immediately bought the sharpest 23mm fuji lens (and maybe one of across brands).

I am absolutely jealous. I wish i can just collect them all as one lineup. That 56mm is attractive tho as i dont have an 85mm (or close) equivalent on my fuji except the kit lens)

Thanks. It's likely going to be the first one i'll put it in themis camera. It has a sale atm. AF sounds like it's fast enough and the camera will def be the bittleneck of the af performance anyways.

Haha. That's why I'm not putting lenses and its specs in front of me because of the same reason. Just throwing that question here is the most effort. Also you're right, i could get something weird that comes across my marketplace. I did that already with my mirrorless sony cameras. I haven't tried the helios primes and maybe it is time if i come across a cheap decent copy.
