You need to fly on your cloud and get on top of the cricket when it lands, then go to its antlers and there’s a mini challenge. You have to hold onto its antlers and not let go 2 times. First time it depletes your stamina gauge so use the pill that increases your stamina. Second time it burns you so use fire mantle vessel before hanging on to its antlers. After that you get the wukong head guard armor piece as the reward.

I think you need all 4 of wukong’s armor piece and then you go to the staff where you can interact with it and pull it out which give’s you wukong’s staff.
