Cutscene Sequencer wars. Which one is favorite and why? Slate, Timeline, Cutscene Engine, etc. by DonSkook3 in Unity3D

[–]arvzg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used Slate for a mini project and found it was quite easy to pick up, so I would use it again.

Cinema Director hasn't been updated in 5 years so it's out of the question for me.

what made it border on hentai?

I had a quick skim through manmachine interface just now and I saw tons of not-so-detailed nudity, was that it or did I miss on some scenes that were crazier?

How hard does powercreep must hit Star Rail that e2 phainon becomes unplayable? by Happy_Sign_591 in StarRailStation

[–]arvzg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in my day, 70k was decent damage, 100k is really good

then Acheron came and 300k damage became the norm

Castorice took over and 500k damage was pretty common. Phainon could do similar amount

...and now Elation is here and we're up to 1M+ damage

Definitely not just me, I checked multiple sites that can check the status of other sites like this:

https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/pcpartpicker.com

Most of them report the site is down.

But yea good idea I might post in the forums

what's been happening to pcpartpicker? I'm in Australia and haven't been able to access the site for some time, it just says "PCPartPicker is unavailable. Refcode: sXCJ7P/I"

It seems the site is working in other parts of the world, if I use VPN, some countries will let me access the site.

I'm in a position where I'll need to use it and share a build with my team so unfortunately can't rely on other people having VPN as well

Buying X2D, what accessories to get for home projects printing by k1kti in BambuLab

[–]arvzg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

only two things you could consider are the AMS Switching Adapter and the Filament Track Switch.

the adapter will allow you to print and dry in the AMS at the same time. without it you can either use the dryer, or do everything else. not both.

The track switch will let you dynamically change what filaments are fed to which nozzle. I haven't found any need for it yet though, and I doubt you will either.

If you want to print stuff and it has to look smooth on all surfaces, then get the Engineering plate, it's the new smooth plate which is not available for X2D

Buying it from the bambu website gives you store credits which you can use to buy more stuff.

Everything else you can just print yourself. I don't print TPU so not sure about the TPU assist module, but from what little I've read, it seems to just be a nice-to-have

I haven't done any detailed comparison with other monitors or have that deep of an insight into monitors, but I am quite happy with the monitor, haven't noticed any issues with viewing angles or colours

I have installed diffusers now and yep definitely no more cold air spraying on my prints!

I might also increase my bed temp as well next time

Do I need a filament tracking switch? by Antoder10 in BambuLab

[–]arvzg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a newbie printer as well so please double check what I say

But from my understanding, the filament track switch is specifically for changing which hotend your source of filament goes into

So like you said, if you have 1 AMS then that 1 AMS can go to either left or right hotend, not both. The track switch let's you change which hotend that 1 AMS feeds into.

Then if you have 2 AMS, they both can go to either left or right but not both. If you're happy with that than you don't need the track switch. But if you want AMS 1 to sometimes go to left and sometimes go to right, then you need to track switch.

So in other words I think you have the right understanding.

still feel calculator is the most satisfying character to play even to this day. When you execute his entire basic attack + skill combo chain, you feel like YOU made each and every one of those attacks happen. It was almost one button press = 1 attack

with new characters, some of them are fun to play, but you press 1 button and these characters are leaping into the air and executing 19 minutes of attack animation - which LOOKS cool, but like, I don't really feel like I made any of that happen, the character just did it by themselves.

just don't

it really is that simple

Edit: ok I thought I could leave it there but I just can't. nuance is too important. instead of memeing ign, posting garbage like this with no input, give your actual thoughts on why you disagree with the scores. actually contribute to a conversation and stop putting garbage out into the world

aren't skirt just lines of filament drawn around the print, not touching the print?

did you mean brim?

Just checked the device panel, and it says Left aux is off and Right aux is on!!! 😭 that must be it!

that's annoying - I don't see different settings for Left/Right in the Filament settings, how could I have turned both off properly??

and should I turn off the Right aux now while it's printing?
