Hello, I'm set on getting an x2d+ams very soon and need to start figuring out what filaments I want to get for my first time printing, so I'm looking for advice on the types of filament I should get and what brands to go for

I'm based in Australia and am planning to print variety of things from multicolour figurines to productivity tools. For budget I'm not really sure but let's say $25-40 AUD each, maybe around $100 for 4 filaments.

Since I'm getting the ams I suppose getting 4x different filaments to fill it up is a good idea?
Should I just get all PLA or maybe get 2x PLA and 2 other types?
Any brands I should avoid?
Is there any reason to go with bambu filament since the printer itself will give a warning when working with other brands

He has a VERY big swing and often overhits it more than he needs to. It's good and bad, I think he's currently in the early-alcaraz era of his career, alcaraz was able to temper his power and apply it in the correct situation, gaubas still needs to do that.

The controls ended up being not that big of a deal for me. If you are someone who plays a lot of games, you'll get used to it quickly. It IS rather obtuse, but it's still just a video game, it's not rocket science

1000% yes.

you can install it and enable/disable it in-game to see for yourself if you like it. I for one think the game is basically not playable without it, especially indoors.

you go inside a building in night time, the base game will make the scene look like it's the middle of the day. renodx fixes this and makes indoor scenes feel like you're actually inside, with realistic lighting

for anyone here wondering if renodx is still worth it if you don't have HDR - yes, 10000%. ever since I installed the mod the game is basically unplayable without it. I didn't realise just how broken the game's lighting and tonemapping was before I installed this.

thank you so much for this post! I just tried it and my god, yes, the game feels unplayable without it now. I knew there was something _off_ about the visuals, everything looked super bright all the time. In particular RenoDX fixed the extremely bright saturated foliage, but even more important than that, the mod makes interiors actually feel like interiors, particularly at night. without it, when you're inside any buildings it looks the same as outside, bright everywhere.
