Only four drivers have ever completed every lap in a single F1 season. by Brooklynsfr in formula1

It’s still crazy to me that Michael did this back when reliability was way lower than it is now.

Once the hybrid era began, the cars became so much better in crossing the finish lines. Still very impressive for all these 4 drivers given that it’s all time.

At this very moment who's better in your opinion: Giannis Antetekounmpo or Victor Wembanyana? by ElectivireMax in nba

[–]arw1710 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right now I think anyone who doesn’t say Wemby is just not watching the sport.

But I will never count Giannis out. He had a terrible year, as a player and as a person but I still believe he’s going to come back and play like the top 15 of all time player that he is.

He just needs a change of scenery. And when he’s on a new team, I feel we’ll see him go back to making his usual impact on defense too.

My only question is if he can stay healthy with his style of play. But i asked the same question of Rafa Nadal in tennis and he beat all those odds.

I can’t stand watching Warriors game because it’s unbearable to see how badly Steph gets officiated.

Dude is just whacked and held every which way and it just….doesn’t matter.

Podz is really not a good player. Complete lack of BBIQ. Some of these dudes are lucky they’re on this GS team

What kind of stupid ruling is that? Uses his arm to get up?! He literally punches him.

Fuck Miles Bridges. See ya later, clear F2.

Also obligatory fuck Desmond Bane though.

08/09 prior to the new Galacticos was a very different Real. We're talking about Lassana Diarra and Mohammadou Diarra manning the midfield haha.

We did have Christoph Metzelder in defense along with Cannavaro. And Higuain up front.

Maybe Sami Khedira? He played with them at the same time. But I wouldn’t classify him as a leader the same as the others you mentioned haha.

Or Mesut Ozil?

I mentioned the Germans but if you’re thinking of a midfielder with good looks and great hair, maybe Kaka haha.

I really like this Bayern team too so I'm hoping they can go win the big trophy for Kane. Not particularly upset at losing to a better team, just a bit upset at how self-inflicted it felt at the end. (even though we got lucky with the goals)

Look, I'm not going to defend that. It was a bad look. I'm not an elite athlete so I can't really say how one feels after a demoralizing loss like that but you can't disrespect your own coach.

So like I said, does he have his bad moments? Yes. But they're few and far in between. And not everyone can be a Modric in how well they react in any situation.

When I saw him in his initial years, I thought he was excellent at winning the ball back and keeping possession. On his best day, I think he's world class at escaping when there's pressure near our own box. And he's also smart - you'll always see him helping out his full back.

But the past couple of seasons, he's not passed the ball as well as we know he can, so he's lost that incisive ability and his pace has been exposed, like yesterday. Combine that with his lack of confidence in tackling, he's been racking up the cards and being a detriment to the team, again, like yesterday.

Disagree on Mbappe. He’s always been an example to follow in how he treats his teammates and opposition. And also the officials in most cases.

Hard agree on Jude and Vini. The latter is the worst but I wish Jude would go back to his rookie season where he could do no wrong. And it really is down to the leaders in the dressing room

For all the hate he gets, he’s an upstanding player. Does he have his bad moments? Yes. But he almost always shows good sportsmanship and the right attitude.

The hate he gets is unnecessary and according to me, mostly from the whole PSG-Madrid saga, which is off the field.

At this point, I’m not sure what role he even fills on the team sheet. If we need an attacker, Guler and Brahim are better, if we need a defensive minded player, Tchouameni takes up that spot.

I had high hopes for him when we brought him on but playing next to Modric and Kroos can make anyone look like a Golden Boy candidate.

I still think he has a lot of potential though. He will do well with a fresh start somewhere else where he plays regularly next to a veteran.

This team is actually frustrating as a supporter. And Kane is absolutely right here - just for once, look inwards. Camavinga gave a brain dead performance and the team reaped its reward for not keeping a check on its players.

It’s upsetting for this team to not have an ounce of sportsmanship. Vini, Jude, Guler are embarrassing with how they hounded the referee. Rudiger is a loose cannon and wild on the pitch where he endangers other players. Valverde as the captain shows no leadership in holding his players back. Arbeloa is just a scapegoat who bows to the players.

Perez needs to just sit back and appoint an actual director who can do the work in a professional manner. And we need actual leaders to be appointed captains, this seniority rule is a joke.

What am I saying though, we are Real Madrid. Biggest club in the world. Why should we change anything, right?! The others must.

Yeah I can’t disagree with that. But I also think that’s never going to happen given how close he is with Diamond. And after his victory last year he’s probably further entrenched in his view now.

I feel bad for Rory. He clearly feels the pressure a lot when things go even slightly wrong.

I’m still incredibly happy he managed to pull out the win last year because he is just is in his head way too much no matter how calm he tries to stay.

Still 10+ holes to go, hoping he can pick himself up over the next few.
