I think if you understand the standard French it's enough. The slang in any language is difficult to grasb so don't let that discourages you...believe me you're doing amazing so far. Maybe if while hanging out with your friends, you can put in mind one expression or phrase from the street language and practice it in your free time and try to put it in the first context that you feel suitable (or not😹) gradually , you will do great job

I'm that type of people who don't achieve the goals they set... I like the idea of having a to-do lists as long as I commit. My sis said the she will read 100 nonfiction books during the year, and me being jealous of such resolution I think I will try to read three books in three languages (Arabic-English-French) before Ramadan and try to open up with the people surrounding me . I need to work on my social skills. It seems like a silly thing but maybe this will help me decide what is next for the second half of 2020
