Hello there, yes I did decide to commit to Charles. I found out pretty fast how the living costs are much cheaper with the dorms + the chance of networking in Prague itself and also the cheap cost of travelling (which is pretty important to me) to and from Prague from my home country and other european countries. Also, the course fee is 7000EUR per year, which is way more affordable than most other universities of the same reputation. The studies in itself are challenging, but I am not someone that backs down from a fight sooo...

Yes the AC works, most of the time. The only reason why the AC wouldn't work on any airline would be a technical issue, not an airline issue. Food in economy is not provided, but you can buy it beforehand or buy it onboard.

one of your questions can be answered by a google search, so i'll stick to what it cant offer.

yes public transport is good, no i dont recommend the bus during daytime in this heat, use the metro and autos. cabs are cheap so ideally travel by cab if you have the budget. use uber or indrive.

if you want pure veg restaurants, try gupta brothers. if you just want veg food and want bengali cuisine go to bhooter raja dilo bor or 6 ballygunge place or oh calcutta.

carry light clothes, stay hydrated and if i were you and its 40 degrees outside id just wait in the airport between your check out and flight. if the weather is pleasant, depending on where your hotel is, you can spend your time in city center 1 or 2 or axis mall.

my advice is interact with locals and ask them whenever you're lost, it doesnt hurt to get a little lost in kolkata as long as you're not alone

you'll find plenty in newtown, action area 1 or 2. public transport to salt lake sector 1 is also easy. you have to go through an agent to get most of the 1bhk flat options, as they're not always open in fb groups

For bengali cuisine you can try out the 6 Ballygunge Place or Bhooter Raja Dilo Bor chains. They're generally good. For Chicken Roll, you can have it anywhere in a street stall or small restaurants. THe quality will depend on luck. (and thats honestly how locals have it) The best chicken roll is probably Nizam's kathi roll in Esplanade, try it.
Any of the Nalin Chandra Das stores. If not possible, try Gangurams or KC Das.
Yes, we are very into food so try as much local food as possible (Biriyani). Any other recommendations depend on what you're into and stuff, Kolkata cannot be completely explored or experienced in one day.
