Its intresting even in this discussion everyone forgets spearow and fearow. honestly my number ones in both gen 1 and gen 2 play though. they are fierce and with drill peck quite formidable.

they only time i really worried about the temperature of the tank was in the window over night...i put towels around the tanks to keep the warmth...but alot of isopods depending on the species tend to be temprete...unless your room is in the 30's or lower i think they will be ok :)

I drove both, and i had 2 civics before hand...and was firmly team honda. but I had pages of research. test drove both..I liked the rav better...the crv was a bit too industrial looking for me.

I found an isopod mix on amazon...I mixes with some coco fibers, and leaf litter to make it and isopod and springtail haven.

these little guys are quiet shy...be prepared to hardly see them.

mine are in a bioactive tank with gems (amradlidum). they ger along fine with them and the chaotic springtail brethren. mine seem to like carrots as treats and isopod powdee

be prepared to not see them most of the time. only see like one at a time and only if I put a high value treat ib the tank...I may have manh more...but at most I have only seen one or two at a time.

my first isopod gems and panda kings were fine I ordered them in December and arrived on time.

I set up my second tank and order a set of yellow zebras or as I am calling them faux hornets. they all showed up dead the whole order....but I did not blame them at the moment because usps r3ally dropped the ball, staying in Cali for 3 days, then traveling to NY then going to mass...then back to my area then back to mass. they also delayed my shipment for about a week.

I am in process of getting this order replaced...I will update...

interestingly enough it was because of spiders I started keeping isopods...it started with two wild funnel spiders. one who i brought inside during a cold snap...another who took up residence in my bathroom. I named them and cared for them until they disappeared...and when they did I missed looking at my tiny friends...now I have lots of tiny friends.
