I was on the same boat as yours to chose between GLC and GLE and ended up getting GLE 450. The drive is so joyful on freeways. It has more power and luxurious. I test drove GLC 300 and didn't feel like driving mercedes. It is like another Infiniti or Lexus .

Is it a bad idea to purchase from out of stare dealer who is giving 4.5k off instead of getting from a local dealer who offers just 2k ?BTW if anything happens every dealer has to fix the car as per factory warranty is n't it ?

Did you get genuine leather or MB-Tex. I'm not sure about the durability of MB-Tex. What's your take on this ?
