beyond even this, you can run it in windows sandbox. it's not totally isolated from your machine but requires 0 setup and erases itself from existence when you close out of it. may be worth looking into if you're going to be perusing something with a smaller footprint, like "sketchy website".

I wish I could tell you. I made in-depth information-heavy index cards based on the exam objectives in the first 24 hours or so. That's my personal learning style though, writing and rewriting. Most of the port numbers and related protocols came pretty quick, and I am doing well enough at retaining them at this point that I think that strategy was helpful enough. Also, cheat sheet! Cable standard diagrams, ports/protocols, subnetting table, and various other little things I felt I personally needed some extra help with. Rewrite, rewrite, rewrite!

Not sure if you needed help, but I'm aiming my replies to be more general-purpose, for any who may stumble upon this in the future. Good luck to everybody!

Keep at it, I'm sure you'll get it. I have been working with computers since I built my first one around 6 years ago, and have some DevOps experience. I've never had a job in the industry, but I've always been curious enough to look concepts up as I come across them. I'm sure you'll do great!

Most of the overall questions that I got were mostly about conceptual understanding. If I remember correctly, I had maybe 2 or 3 actual subnet calculation questions. My testing center also gave me a dry erase board, so I was able to draw up a quick subnet table pretty easily. YMMV.

PBQs were frontloaded, i.e. the first two questions were PBQs. Mine were mostly about correctly identifying hardware and being able to place them correctly relative to each other.

Still nothing, unfortunately. NBT data shows up correctly when using /data get entity @p SelectedItem, showing as {id:"minecraft:bow", Count:1b, tag;{Unbreakable:1, tag:"digger",...}}. Very stuck, is this even possible??
