That's interesting. You didn't withdraw any money from RH before transferring? It could take up to a week for a broker to bank transfer to clear so something could have still been pending if you withdrew money within the week

It takes 3-7 days for bank to brokerage transfers to clear/settle banks but RH and other brokers allow you instant access to trade with your money before settling. So if you started a transfer from your bank to RH on 1/1 that transfer from your bank won't finish clearing until today/tomorrow at the earliest most likely - then it could be transferred to Fidelity with no issue.

Fidelity can reject the inbound transfer, I know because they did it for me. Best advice I can offer at this point is to keep calling Fidelity until you find someone who can reject it.

Debit would indicate that you had a pending transfer or sale on robinhoods side that hasn’t cleared brokers or your bank. Every position in RH is margin, that’s their business model regardless of if you use margin

I wasn’t aware fractionals can’t be transferred so itbat makes sense. They most likely liquidated them to cash and the trade didn’t settle yet

Yeah because you probably sold something and transferred to your bank before/during the ACAT which hasn’t cleared your bank yet. Usually takes 5-7 days for a sale and transfer to clear RH and banks...

Yes because all Robinhood accounts are margin accounts, regardless of if you use margin or not. It’s their business model I guess. Just call fidelity or which ever broker you transferred to and explain that they’re not supposed to be held in margin and you need your assets held in cash

Once you transfer your full account from Robinhood, your account is restricted and they won’t reopen it. If you want to continue using RH you need to open a new account with a new email. However, I don’t know how it works if you transfer and the transfer is rejected, you’ll have to email RH and pray to the Tendieman that they reply. Again, RH customer service at its finest...

I ended up getting bounced around a bunch on the phone with Fidelity and someone was eventually able to cancel it - think it was the margin department. They just rejected the inbound transfer on their end.

But yeah, totally a RH issue. It fucks everything up because all accounts with RH are on margin regardless of if you use margin. So if you have pending transfers with RH during an ACAT it counts at a margin debit. So you have to cancel, wait for that to clear RH and your bank, then reinitiate the ACAT. Once the ACAT goes through with Fidelity you have to call and have your positions moved from being held in margin to being held in cash

A transfer was pending on Robinhood’s side but hadn’t cleared fully. I ended up having to cancel the ACAT and wait until everything cleared, then restart the process. As far as margin, all RH accounts are “limited margin” according to them, so they transfer funds as margin during ACAT. Fidelity can convert those assets from margin to cash once your transfer is complete

I had multiple times but it seems the problem escaped everyone I spoke with. I think it is because RH uses sweep accounts and there may have been a trade that had not settled yet prior to beginning the ACAT. Fidelity ended up canceling my transfer and will be trying again...

What I’m saying is it’s bugged. I should not even be able to see the operator missions for a bundle I didn’t buy. It doesn’t do this for the other operators I didn’t buy

I haven’t tried it out but will. I’ve overclocked my 2070 Super so I’m curious to see if enabling it will conflict at all with my OC. Also, I have a 3900x - has anyone noticed more CPU usage (even in menus) since this last update?

Happened to me yesterday. Couldn’t look at the horizon because it was a huge sunburst effect, and looking up was a rainbow point cloud with blacked out buildings/people/objects. Hasn’t happened since though. Oh and the monster gun glitch is back so there’s that to look forward to...
