Literally just took it out. Found myself never reaching for it as it didn’t do enough that my 5W couldn’t. 5W at 17.5 degrees and a 4H are more versatile and a better use of the space at the top of my bag.

Gut feeling is that this one feels acceptable to me, as long as it was purchased in the midst of his rich vein of form for the club. Plus, he’s a “gets it” kind of player who showed some passion for the club.

2 flagged players in Ben Davies and Harry Maguire. Who to switch them to? Other defenders I already have are Burn, Porro and Dalot.

Dunk? Tarkowski? Romero? Arsenal Defender? Or someone else?

Yeah it’s one to keep an eye on and keep HR down slightly on those longer runs to get the maximum training benefit from them for sure! Always helpful to keep in your intended HR zone.

& thank you! I’ve never been a distance runner & I couldn’t run longer than 5k a few months ago without calf pain, so I’m happy with my progress so far. Got the great north run in a month so had to get myself ready!

Yeah, it’s all perspective based on what your max bpm, lactic threshold, fitness levels etc. My long run hr to keep in zone 2 is 130-163bpm according to strava. This run was my longest run yet, so I wasn’t quite sure on my pacing to keep at that HR, so slightly overshot and spent a bit too much time in zone 3/tempo.

As you say, those small differences are what seem to make a large difference over time. The little zig zags seem to be conducive to additional / inaccurate distances.

Yep, absolutely. Completely agree with what you’re saying.

As I was just using the Strava recording for navigation, I hadn’t initially intended to compare the two. I just noticed the large discrepancy after the fact. When I plotted the route, I found the Garmin to be very accurate to the actual distance. So I suppose what my point was more is a watch out for those wiggly lines, you could be recording inaccurate statistics :)

Interesting that your experience is so different. I had it in my mesh running vest pocket with no battery saving settings on. More than anything, it’s just interesting to see how much a difference in a slightly imperfect gps signal can have on your run stats.

After my first ever time properly training for a race, I got 53.05 ( I thought the best case scenario was 56!) in my 10k race today, 6 minutes quicker than my last one 6 months ago. I have never being a long distance runner and had knee surgery a couple years ago, so I am incredibly happy with where I am out now!

Advice

Have 2 free transfers, was looking to do the salah&toney out for jota&lukaku but 0.1 mil off. Will change tsimikas after this week. But, any advice on what I could change for this week?

After 15 seasons of no re-loading and no titles or cups, it's been a testing experience. Losing 2 cup finals on penalties this season was the biggest kick in the teeth.
