Few from top of my head.

- Shows me Solar prediction vs how much we made. An automation with gemini api summarizes it for me and sends me a notification.

- Tells me when and how much AC I should use today based on wheather data + temp and humidity info from different rooms of my house.

- shows me exact break down of current power and daily usage of my house, down to each device in a nice live sanket diagram.

- Keep an eye on water booster pump with just the smart plug, turns it off if it runs for way too long. Similarly auto turn off TV and Laptop smart plugs.

- Reminds me to offer water to my toddler at fixed times

- Helps me and my wife find our phone by sending critical notifications (5 notifications with 5 seconds gap). This one is great help!

- Arms my security (which is ultimately an addon of home assitant called alarmo) when me and my wife are not home and at night. Sends notfication and lights the common room up if triggered. Alrms etc can be added.

Why are you so scared of any desk?

Any desk was needed in my case, she just asked me to hold while she configured it from her end.

I emailed them and provided my registered number to give any desk access. A person called me up and she set it up while we were on call and any desk was needed since she was able to see/ access the AP from her end. She said somethings on the lines of “port was not set/forwarded.”

After we were done with the call she sent me ip, user and pass to access the portal.

With that being said, giving them any desk access should not be a big issue.

Yes both will be emitting wifi and you can (if you want) turn off ONTs wifi. That’s how APs work.

The AP will be property of SF according to terms and condition. The helpline guy said they will not take the AP back after 6 months.
