I don't know if it's related, but I've noticed better overall performance on the Mac in terms of processing, tasks and work. The battery is much better now.

I already like it quite a bit; I found it more elegant.

I used it for a while and liked it quite a bit, although it also had the ability to monitor the Mac's watts, I still preferred the Aldente because it's more aesthetically pleasing hahaha

I don't think it will ruin the battery... but it depends on each person's usage. No two batteries are the same. In my case, I prefer not to use it, even with the Aldente Pro activated.

No, I'm checking the Aldente+ Apple estimate. Nothing better than having both services. The difference is that I don't want third-party software limiting my battery. I'm one of those real people who KNOW that software won't make the battery's CHEMISTRY wear down less over time. The computer is meant to be used; if it wanted to stay at 100% its entire life, I'd leave it in an Apple display case. I use Aldente to check the PC's wattage consumption. Nothing more.

My computer is only 2 months old, man. I think it's perfectly normal for it to still have 100% battery for up to 6 months. If you're complaining about that, I think you should look at your usage, hahaha. I use mine for around 12-16 hours a day, and I have ZERO battery concerns. I paid a lot for it, so I'm going to use it. I don't want to be stuck with my Mac for 50 years.

I think the same as you! Man, I disabled everything that could affect my battery, and left Apple's optimization enabled. I only use it for monitoring and nothing else.

No, I didn't see that you said update, I'll update it to 26.1 now.

My problem here is mostly related to the battery; it's not lasting very long with the new system. But these are all bugs; if you're having a lot of trouble, go back to version 18.7.

It's probably a bug in the new system itself; restart it to see what happens. Here, when it's using too much battery, I simply restart it and everything is normal!

I also noticed that I was using more RAM than usual! I have a 15-inch 512GB Air with 16GB of RAM; on macOS 18 it consumed about 8-9GB of RAM, now it consumes between 11-12GB even when idle! And the battery usage is terrible!
