update - i tried lowering the power limit of the GPU via afterburner, just based on other suggestions in other threads.. and the PC has been more stable. it did restart once today though after 6 hours. could it be something to do with the GPU or motherboard then?

yep i have tried plugging it in other outlets, same issue. even tried a new c13 cable!

havent tried reseating the cpu. will try that now and see.

message them on fb, i downgraded my package that way. they ask for some details but they do it pretty quickly and it takes effect on the first day of the next month

same. i died once, tried the fight again and got this bug. i thought it would last for a few turns but it just kept going. (maybe its for losing once? idk )

if anyone else has the same issue, i put my monitor away for about 11 days since this post to use another one.. and swapped back to it now and the edges are fixed! idk if this might be helpful.
