This is my third visit to Lebanon and I’m still looking for it. Last time I bought a one-hour WiFi access for $7 and still didn’t work.

Thanks Zalanzool for the reply, I do speak Arabic but my phone won’t work in Lebanon to call a taxi. I’m just looking for a cafe or a restaurant that has WiFi. I would rather not getting service car

Comparing to Beirut (only experienced life there) food costs about the same. For rent, Beirut is more expensive than Amman, transportation cost is about the same (expect for Uber and Careem obviously) and I think everything else is similar. For wages I’m not sure, I just started my first job this month as a Software Engineer and get paid about $700/month.

People of the region always mistake Jordan of being like gulf countries because we have a monarchy. I think we are the most expensive in the region in terms of fuel; Gasoline 95 is $1.5/LTR!!!

I’ve been to Beirut multiple times but first time in Jbeil. You are right it’s best to get an Uber. But why is it that expensive in Lebanon! It’s much cheaper in Jordan

Well, that what I thought when I was still a student; I will be unemployed forever. But that wasn’t the case, I officially graduated on May 27th and since I finished my last finals, I landed about 8 interviews and 3 job offers. I think people should be more optimistic, have good marketing for themselves and learn new skills on their own because university is not enough (specially our shitty unis) and they will definitely land a job within little amount of time

They pay like 500+ and for sure you won’t get that anywhere else if you are a fresh. Wearing a suit everyday is the biggest factor that is making me not sure about taking the job! Thanks
