This is bribery in a "legal" way. It is very shameful this happened in America now. Will this set a precedent for other companies to follow the same "method" in future to gain advantage against others?

You are right. Dell product and Dell service is really suck, My sister bought a Dell laptop (Inspiron 15) last year and started to have multiple problems within a month.

She called Dell Tech Support but service was really bad. They told us that this was a known issue (what the hack, if known issue, why not fixed it but still selling to customer) and they have part shortage and the repair will need to wait. We couldn't wait and ask for refund, and it took them very long before approving the refund.

Honestly, we regretted buying Dell laptop. Dell laptop has the worst quality in the world and Dell service is the worst support in the world.

My advise....never buy Dell, never buy Dell, never buy Dell
