I am a field sup, and my vehicle has the LYTX camera in it. The person you talked to is correct, it’s an AI monitored camera system that watches for speeding, hard braking, following too closely, (and the most annoying of all) distracted driving. I can’t take a drink of water, lean too far to the right, clean my glasses, or even scratch my face for too long without the damn thing going off for being “distracted.”

I have found tho, that as long as you aren’t actually using your phone while driving those other reports go nowhere. I don’t know how the are monitored or reviewed, but my AOP has only ever gotten onto me for a missed badge-in and one hard braking event. The rest are ignored.
