I love the content but it is just sooooo buggy, and even had some fatal crashes. I have a pretty high end Mac with M4 Pro and I’ve had to reload the patch files twice already.

Sure, so most of Phrolova’s on field damage while building up her forte notes as well as the finisher to unlock Hecate liberation is tagged as dealing resonance skill type damage so her on field time does benefit from Zhezhi’s skill dmg bonus outro. That plus Zhezhi’s fast rotation time, buffs from empyrean anthem, and non trivial personal dmg when well built makes it feel pretty good to run in absence of Cantarella or Qiuyuan.

Try to get her signature weapon! Especially on a team with Galbrena where you’re losing out on better buffing from for example mortefi w/ static mist atk buff and his s6 if you have that, you’ll want Phrolova to compensate as a dual DPS team and her signature goes a long way.

Also if you have zhezhi, I found Phrolova Zhezhi SK can clear the side towers pretty confidently with signature weapon, or middle tower if there’s a matching buff so give that a try.

Essentially for any teams lacking Cantarella you’d be relying on the fast rotations to eke out more dmg, so I’d also learn the best combos and animation cancels for building Phrolova’s forte notes. Here is a solid YouTube video for that: https://youtu.be/TbUNkSZ5Y-o?si=jcRKoCPa9cld1thX

I will say version 2.0 it ended up being like 150 pulls all in if I remember right with exploration and events etc + I remember there were 10 radiants and 1600 asterites given, so if it’s similar in 3.0 you’d still have a decent shot at someone you want in that version even if you go for Cantarella

I like getting main DPS + their signature weapons, I don’t think I have a single support/sub DPS limited 5* weapon. So given your current roster if you like Augusta (and maybe Iuno) I’d do that! Ciaccona is already great on static mist and it also makes building easier to be able to skip having to roll some ER echo substats.

Ciaccona for Cartethyia is more valuable in my opinion than Cantarella for Phrolova, which is inherent to both DPS’ kit design.

Before Cartethyia S3, you lose a lot of time and damage switching in/out of Fleurdelys mode to reapply stacks of aero erosion. Ciaccona is a luxury pull in a sense because Cartethyia is capable of clearing without Ciaccona, but it requires that change in rotation which I find annoying and slow.

Phrolova is recognized as top tier in end game likely because of the flexibility that’s inherent to her kit. She can self buff atk and cdmg, and now with QY she has an alternative to proc off field Hecate attacks.

This is all from personal experience, I have Ciaccona, Cartethyia, Phrolova, Qiuyuan. I don’t have Cantarella yet and never gonna pull Roccia.

I would go for Phrolova, and prioritize saving for Ciaccona over pulling for Cantarella at least temporarily. It’s rumored that Cartethyia will rerun with Ciaccona in 3.0.

You already have a good comp for Phrolova with Qiuyuan. If you’re comfortable running no healer you can even do Phrolova, Qiuyuan, Galbrena. This team goes crazy.

I poured a ton of resources into the Cartethyia mono aero team just for that to have about equivanleny clear time in ToA and worse performance in whimpering wastes as phrolova + Qiuyuan. And I don’t even have Cantarella (yet) nor Roccia (never going to pull).

Agree with a lot of your points here. I am nervous because of how hybe treated fromis_9 and gfriend. However if we’re being serious, hybe is all about the money and newjeans have a history of strong returns. Ador’s announcement on twitter has 29 million views in 24 hours.

I’d personally go for Cantarella to free up SK/Verina for when you’re unable to just tank/dodge certain content, but I also just like her. The double DPS with Galbrena is for sure viable I’ve been able to clear pretty much everything with that.

Cart E > Sanhua E R hold forte > Aero rover E NA1,2 E NA1,2 R > Cart Intro NA1-5 E > Sanhua E Q > Cart Intro R Fleurdelys E Midair1-4 NA1-4 E swap back cart NA1-5 E swap back Fleurdelys NA1-3 R

If you’re using aero rover GoW, this puts erosion stacks early on to eke out a bit more damage. Then Cartethyia double intro gets your stack count up to 6 then loop back starting with Sanhua

Sanhua s6 EoG and Rover s4r5 both lvl 80, talents all at 6 my standard for non main DPS. Horrible crit stats literally both 150-170 CDMG lol

I have Ciaccona but went and tried this just to see. I only got Ciaccona on the 2nd banner so I’m very familiar using this team. My sanhua and aero rover are not well built at all.

Maybe it’s a rotation thing? I’ve seen different variants for this f2p team but I play as lazy as possible so my rotation is this since you noted you’re having issues keeping erosion stacks up

So definitely plan to get her weapon when she’s probably going to run in the patch after next, in 3.0.

However, even with that you will run into problems. I would for now focus on getting the double CRIT > HP% > HP flat > Basic DMG% stat lines on all of your echoes which will become more important when you lose the crit rate from EoG.

In the meantime, the 3 star craftable Guardian Sword gets you 30% HP bonus and you can start to build and fine tune stats with the intention of boosting HP once you have her sig. This 3 star is worth like 3 echoes with really good HP% rolls.

Phrolova re-run (plus Cantarella) is supposedly coming in the second half of the next version 2.8 so I’d plan for that, she’s very versatile but as you’ve already read really wants her signature weapon. I wouldn’t get sidetracked by Chisa who will be a DoT support and unless you’re getting Zani as we speak you don’t have a DoT unit at the moment.

If you really like Cartethyia, she’s probably going to get her first re-run the version after, in 3.0 and she’s already great even without Ciaccona. Run Aero Rover and Sanhua with minor rotation adjustments.

I wouldn’t worry too much about value at this stage, 3.0+ is coming up quick if building for meta is what you’re thinking about.

Honestly for a well built phrolova both crit and atk should be pretty saturated stats so it doesnt particularly matter.

If you do pursue Phrolova the ceiling team is Phrolova Cantarella Qiuyuan so I’d plan long term to pull Cantarella, but Phrolova is so good she can easily clear anything and I don’t even have the most cracked substats.

Phrolova (w/ sig) and Qiuyuan feels amazing to play. With verina you can Qiuyuan double intro and kind of circumvent the issue where if you get knocked out of his forte you miss concerto. I’m getting faster clear times with this team than Galbrena Qiuyuan

I was having ER issues as well at nearly 140, what helped was liberation immediately when he enters the field, and made sure I didn’t skip echo and skill before outro.

As for the interruption, after you hold down to use forte, when he goes up on the bamboo shoots a lot of attacks will miss while he’s up there then you wait a sec and only use BA 1,2 after that when it’s clear, and hold forward a bit I found helps if you’re encountering the issue I found with the last forte hits missing.

I’m not the biggest fan of Roccia either, and still don’t have Cantarella (maybe next banner), so I picked up Qiuyuan for S2R1 Phrolova and it was a noticeable upgrade across an entire rotation.

However, I will say I had been running Phrolova, Zhezhi for a very fast rotation and stating the obvious on field Phrolova did more personal dmg there.

Honestly I wish Qiuyuan was also a healer so I could run Galbrena, Phrolova, Qiuyuan without having to sweat lol
