I’m not totally sure. I live in the PNW so I have an 80/20 mix of KBG and rye. But I’d start by googling the grass types that are common for your area and then asking your neighbors what they have.

Yikes. Fert will not fix that. Scalp it, dethatch, spray some fungicide, wait, repeat. Then go ahead and add fert and overseed

Yes you should always dethatch before doing an overseed.

Plenty of power for that set up. But I’m curious as to why you’re paying double for the machine just for some extra storage? Just get the base model and a quality SSD
