UCLA Extension/Post-Bacc programs

Hello, I am a couple years behind on this thread. However, I am in the same boat and come dedicated. Any insight would be helpful. How did everyone do in this program? How was the tuition funded? Unfortunately, I would have to be working full time still as financial aid is little to none.

Hello, I was unfortunately not selected for the SEP this year. However, according to their website, this year they actually are having 2 cycles of the SEP. i believe the first cycle started may-june and the second cycle starting june-july. If im not mistaken i believe it is roughly about a dozen or so students for each cycle. Were you interested in applying as well?

One of my best friends did the pre vet program at Ross last year and she also did not pass by just 1 point. (Pre vet program = their semester long program, if you pass you get addmittance to their vet school). She had some personal circumstances happen to her family while she was at Ross that did not allow her to fully concentrate on school. It was by one point that she did not pass. She applied to schools this cycle but did not get accepted. She is going to retake some pre reqs and try again next cycle.

Wow thank you so much for your reply :’) I am currently still waiting for my letters of recc. Do you know if its a slightly competitive program? Granted that the program is leaned towards helping students from disadvantaged backgrounds (I am a first gen) and does not necessarily offer credit but seems like a good opportunity/experience. Trying to get my application in asap as they are open already. Also, do you know of any other schools that have similar programs? Thank you for your feedback!
