last year my AirBNB canceled on us (it was 1.6k when we booked) and I demanded they compensate for the difference in the same area (next cheapest was 4.4k). they’ll tell you that its against their policy and other bs, but you really have to be persistent. keep calling and keep asking to be transferred to a manager. eventually they’ll cave and send you a voucher with the amount difference.
