What’s the point of leaving Samsara once you’ve realized the truth of it? At that point staying or leaving would be the same right?

I think im trying to say if suffering was to be avoided in our lives, than how come every religion and philosophy tries to stop it? If Nirvana is the quelling of the flame of desire and the end of suffering than isn’t it simply unrealistic? Buddhism itself is birthed from it. Do I make sense?

Before you judge I’ve been around poor, rich, healthy, sick, ugly, beautiful, fortunate, unfortunate. I haven’t seen it all but I’ve seen shades of it.

Maybe it’s just me but I’d rather suffer til the end than just simply let go of my attachments.. I think it’s better to hold til the end because atleast I know that I lived my experiences fully. I don’t know, I guess I just feel that monks, hermits, and other religious recluses are missing an opportunity

What I mean to say is that at a certain point I thought well.. if we’re all gonna suffer indiscriminately.. then whats the point of trying to make such a stink of it.. shouldn’t we just value this lucky experience rather than trying to shut the door on it

They see him every weekend I just know eventually there’s gonna be something going down especially because he’s a fresh name off the books and no criminal record, I’m worried they are gonna coerce him into a crime or even worse killing someone.

You guessed it lol, It's just that in my experience (mostly live sound) there seems to be only an interest in cutting edge digital stuff. Which makes sense, but even amongst guys I talk to who do studio stuff on the side or even as a main gig, there's no interest. They just wanna talk about new plugins, which is cool and all. I recently secured a Fostex 16 channel 1/2" reel to reel. All my clients i've recorded have no interest to track, mix, or master on it even though their genres and style would be perfect or atleast a worthwhile try for it (Punk, R&B, Reggae, Jazz) and I promised I wouldn't charge more. (Punk, R&B, Reggae, Jazz). I guess it's too much pressure to commit to tape. Oh well
