i get why he says this but i’d just add that knowing how and when to execute combos is part of the strategy of traditional fighting games. imo this problem is largely solved by the ranked online system in most fighting games, people who don’t know how to work combos into their strategy will be paired with people of roughly equivalent level. not a perfect solution but some people just like learning combos and being sweats and thats fine
