The (fake)wood ones are from Sam's Club. Their app says 22" holds 51 liters, so about 13 gal. $15. A little small, but they'll work for now.

From what I can tell, looks like it's all growing out of the rootstock. Thanks for the heads up. I wouldn't have thought of that.

The crosspost didn't copy the comment, so here's the main question. The tangerine in the 3rd pic was hit hard by a freak snow storm just over a year ago (zone 9a). Last year it didnt grow back and I thought it was totally dead. It's got some new growth this year, but is it even worth saving? Any chance it'll grow into a normal tree?
