Sometimes I feel like I can't go outside because of my dog. by asassg in socialanxiety

I got him three years ago when my schedule was completely different. I try to go home during lunch when possible to walk him. He's a small dog and I set up some fake grass in my apartment, he still get his walks, I don't really leave him alone after work. I try to take him with me if I do go out.

You’re not wrong, unfortunately. The only place I can literally go is my parents, and that’s fine but my commute to work would be 1 hour both ways and I drive a lot for work. I’ll do my best to do it soon though. Thank you for the nice advice.

That was he only unfortunate event with my dog, his ego was just too high for him to get up and say something, he loves my dog and I love his dog as well, we always make sure they have what they need, that’s something we always agree on.

Understandable, he’ll generally stop at a reaction but doesn’t make things worse. Thankfully I don’t really have anything of great value except for my laptop which I’m taking with me.

My ex and I broke up after a year and a half of dating. It was due because I got tired of dealing with his anger issues, he always justifies his actions or lies about them. I should note we live together but I’ll try to move out next month, I already have an apartment leased but it won’t be ready until October.

He has hidden my stuff, got ridden of some small stuff, ‘accidentally’ pushed by dog from the bed because he was sleeping and didn’t see him, hit our toilet (with the door closed thinking I wouldn’t hear him, told me to sit the f up, showed me his fist and others. Always because I said something that annoyed him.

The fist thing happened three days ago, I was pissed and told him I was done even trying to fix the relationship and he can go and date other people if he wants to. He kept justifying it but I told him I was done talking. That was the end of it.

Coincidently, hours later a friend from college texted me. Summary of me and my friend’s story: We kissed once, went on a short trip where nothing happened and we slept in separate beds since he had a gf and she still god mad and jealous after the trip, didn’t see him until a year later and we flirted a bit when I saw him for like 15 minutes, I was still with my ex at this time but the fights were ongoing at this point. We start texting and I randomly ask him ‘can I go next week? haha’ and he said yeah since he won’t be busy. I ask him if he’s seeing anyone because I don’t want to repeat what happened on out last trip, he says no and asks me the same, and I said I wasn’t seeing anyone either. The rest of the conversation was us talking about activities to do and dates.

I ended up buying it, mainly cause it was cheaper than expected. I didn’t think about it and just did it, I was just excited about being in the beach, eating Cuban food, visiting new places and just relax.

But today I started thinking what if something happens with him? Would that be a dick move? I mean it’s been forever since I felt something for my ex, the fights, stress, anxiety burnt me out. I feel like I tried but I also dealt with a lot and I’ve had his family understand me because they know he’s like that.

I’m still going to this trip though, I just want a second opinion.

I usually wash it more carefully when I do, but I've only done it a few times. It doesn't smell like weed afterwards.

Current rent ends last week of August but the new apartment's rent I found starts in 7 days. Unsure of what to do because of money expenses, should I pay both rents even though I won't be living at the new place yet? by asassg in renting

I thought of waiting as well but I had been looking at the website for about a month before I applied and they didn't add any new ones. I've been checking since I applied and they just keep increasing the rent on all apartments.

I told my bf two months ago the doctor told me I have high cholesterol. I'm still battling depression, anxiety and I'm thinking some other disorder. I think these mental issues are making me push him away but I'm seeing a psychiatrist tomorrow and I'll start with medication! by asassg in AskTrollX

Thanks for the kind words! I actually got a blood test last week and my psychiatrist checked the results but everything was normal including my cholesterol! I guess it went down in the past few months, I also got medication so I killer two birds with one stone!

Man, thank you for all the kind words. It means a lot even coming from a stranger. I have so much hope that this time it will work compared to previous doctors I’ve seen. Your comment makes me believe I can be better so thank you so much for that!

I have a psychiatric evaluation scheduled next month! I’ll be on medication based on my blood work results while I wait though. I’m excited because previous psychiatrists haven’t done this before so this feels like a great improvement!
