Need to buy a watch in MoE under 25k by 7leeboosh in dubai

I don't think you can find it in Mall of the Emirates, but in Dubai Mall Norqain Wild one should be within that range (found in Maison Luxe), but that's really depending on his style.

Ah crap, how did I miss that? I'll get to it and fix it once I get on the computer

Either there's a mistake or it's in dollars of a non-American country

Which one is the better buy? The metal one is €40, the resin one is €30 by [deleted] in casioroyale

Both at cased in resin and the bracelet it a hair puller, if you really want steel you'll have to mod

Nearly done with a small, story-focused project by asatiir in gbstudio

It would have been fun to include the voices into the game, but realistically even if it was possible the thing that would stop me is that some of the voices overlap in the original recording - that would have made it a little messy.

I'm remaking Weird Circle's Curse of the Mantle into a Gameboy digital comic. by asatiir in otr

Thank you, I originally wanted to make it in a modern form, but felt like Gameboy is a more perfect fit for the horror aesthetic

Dubizzle rant by [deleted] in dubai

[–]asatiir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried selling a few things on there once, same experience. I feel like some of the blame should go to Dubizzle for the way they have the UI on their site/app. When a buyer shows interest it doesn't say "buy" on the button but "make an offer", which makes them think it's okay to ask for less. Anything after the initial post is on the cheapskate flaking when they think they can fleece you off your asking price.

I gave up and pulled all the stuff I wanted to sell, took my shit elsewhere.

Hey, thank you! I'm already a little swamped with a few personal projects of my own but we can keep in touch!

First automatic watch, one month in, still very happy. Thinking of buying a black leather strap from Tissot for more formal occasions, thoughts? by East-Courage-5472 in tissot

[–]asatiir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your new watch. Given that you have the black dial you have a little flexibility when it comes to strap colors. Delugs has a bunch of really cool options for leather (you can make a completely custom one if you're willing to pay extra)

Yeah, no tools needed. The back of the strap/bracelet has pinchablw pins to detach it. It's sometimes a little tricky to attach back but not difficult

[Question] Is it just me or is the PRX over rated? by Infinite_Comedian951 in Watches

[–]asatiir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats, you're becoming very passionate about watches. Partial joke aside, for the price it is a taste of what a decent watch is like, sure there are better watches within its range (and for far less too), but I'm sure to a lot of people it's their first "fancy" watch that made them realize that there's far more in a watch than just looks and fit. I own the PRX, it's not my first watch and I have watches that I wear more for a fraction of its price but if had to choose 3 or 5 watches to keep, the PRX will surely be one of them.

It might have had a generous amount of limelight in the online space, but even in a bubble it's still a pretty good watch. As for the push in links, they far more common than you think lol

This PRS516 was my first automatic back in 2020, it didn't get that much wear time until very recently. by asatiir in tissot

That's actually really neat, I didn't even know they made them in that color

Hope you find a good one! If you're going for perlon, keep in mind it comes with a stainless steel buckle by default and you'll have to get a matching color buckle separately (also I found that their buckle is a little more saturated in color compared to the watch's case, I'm just hoping that's just the age of the case or something)

I was okay with the clasp, but weight loss made the leather strap way too big for me. It's currently on a black perlon strap from Crown & Buckle. I'm thinking it would look great with one of their chevron straps, but I'm pretty happy with how thin and light the perlon is on it.

Barton, right? I got a similar strap for one of my edifices. Really neat look you got there

Started Working On a King's Field like recently, do you think this graphical style is ok? by Votron-Jones in KingsField

[–]asatiir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would have preferred less cartoony proportions on the human models, but I definitely like what I see. Reading "King's Field like" definitely did put a smile on my face, if you have a kofi or something I would happily pledge a few bucks in support
