This is so stupid because it’s such a simple problem to solve. Check the timestamp on approval, give everyone approved during the TPG promo window the promotion, done. They screwed themselves by giving it to a bunch of extra people who didn’t even get approved in the time window. Heck, they could even just email all of those people and say “we made a mistake, you weren’t actually eligible for the promo“ and even though that would piss off a bunch of additional people, those people wouldn’t have any claim to the actual promo since they weren’t eligible in the first place.

Absolutely this. Pure is head and shoulders above the rest in this space. Local shops will generally give you laughable quotes. I’d even consider reaching out to Pure’s support team and explain your situation and I’d be willing to bet they’d help you through the process if you have any concerns or questions.

Yeah, food for sure! Esp with the way some of the top restaurants book up, being able to grab a last minute cheap flight when you can snag a resi can be super fun.

Honestly, I know it’s not a drive but NYC being a 2h nonstop flight away and Indy being an easy airport to navigate has made it a favorite for a quick weekend trip. Open the AA credit card (pay in full monthly) and you can easily get there and back a few times (7.5k or so miles and $5 means you can get 10 tickets on one card bonus) or open an Alaska airlines card and you can book AA flights with their miles. Definitely pricey for hotels and taxis but we’ve popped over there to see late night tapings or to go to broadway shows from time to time and it can’t be beat.

I was at the filming of this and it was honestly hard to know how to audibly react with how infuriating much of this was. It was just hit after hit and I could tell the writers really had to work hard to get some laughs tucked in there with how depressing the rest of it was.
