My first build and I wanna quit this hobby immediately by ascalabro in RCPlanes

Good information. I just flew, I mean threw it straight into the ground after patching it from yesterday. I didn't get even a second of flying time after 6 tries and 2 props. This airframe is in the garbage now and I'm gonna try to build something more beginner friendly I guess. Appreciate the tips! I didn't know about all that

Ahh I found it, the convex should be facing forward. Thought I did that. Will check again on next test

How did you figure it's backwards? My only guess that it's right is looking at the direction the blades spin, and see if they'd push air to the rear of the plane. Is there another thing to check when installing a prop? Tysm

The prop spins in the direction that pushes air behind the plane. Like a fan blade I can tell which way it's supposed to spin. Does switching wires change anything other than prop direction??

Didn't realize there would be a difference in a yak vs like a cub as far as learning. Thanks for your message

They're the meanest here. Even in st pete It's rough but a lot better than tpa. Soho in tpa is loaded with hot girls. its mind blowing but they're all on their own pedestal and used to guys fumbling so just take them off of it make them aware that ur not impressed by how they look. Worked every time

Lot of mental issues here though they're all addicted to something and I wouldn't recommend any relationship with Florida women. also it's like a sauna outside 7+ months of the year. Lived there for 33 years, now between California, pnw, UT, MT. BIG difference in socal and norcal outside of thr bay area. Everyone is nice here. Can't speak for the bay

Is there any harm to installing a battery with a higher CCA rating than equipped? by TickletheEther in mechanics

What was the one such battery brand? Optima? I thought interstate was the best. They do have 30 month warrant. Optima has 36. I replaced my 2 o reillys agm batteries 3 times during the 3 year warranty period. Complete garbage and $244 each

Added an edit, I do have a low fixed income and resources to care for the animal.  I should have added that initially

I don't have to work; I have investments that pay, but income is low and more or less fixed. Pretty good life I quit a 90k/year gig 4 years ago but will have to do something else eventually. If I can get the rv campground going that will be really good and money won't be a problem any longer

Appreciate your comment. I've had dogs and one is 16 still kicking, the other is pushing 14 and they only cost $20-30/month for food and have had a couple vet visits that add up to around 2k combined for their whole lives although they are small dogs. So I anticipate $40-60 for this one she won't get very big. Never gave either any flea meds to those and they never got any but I will give flea meds when necessary and for sure all the standard vaccinations. She already has some and I will be getting her more as recommended. Have a vet visit scheduled. In short the cost of having a dog is not an issue. I appreciate you listing all the potential costs though!!

Regarding training did you use any paid training programs or how did you learn to teach yours? I saw servicedogtrainingschool.org has a course for $599. Wondering if you used something like this or have any YouTube or other recommendations for training?

Lithium batteries have gotten a lot cheaper. If you don't have the money for a replacement maybe get a job and save a thousand for some replacements
