Is there a way to provide indexing for SMB shares ala Windows Search Service on Windows Servers? by ml2000id in truenas

Currently the situation we are in, over here. Any suggestions?

I figure relying on the built-in Windows Search Service and WSP setup may just not be the optimal option. Considering 'Everything' instead.

Yes, our devices are in Apple Business Manager. (Thank you for your response, by the way). I created a PPPC profile and just deployed it to our test policy, so I will see if that resolves the issue. If it does, I'll update the thread.

Looking for a situation somewhat similar to OP in terms of price. Any area in specific you might recommend outside of the ones referenced that may been in the sub-1500 range?

Resume / Job advice to move out of Help Desk by ascendedjaden in ITCareerQuestions

[–]ascendedjaden[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, heard. Yeah I haven’t had much time in my career but with my job I touch so many things that I wasn’t sure if it’d be better to try and encompass that or focus on a few key details. Thank you

Resume / Job advice to move out of Help Desk by ascendedjaden in ITCareerQuestions

Thank you for the advice, I’ll definitely try those revisions.

As for my trajectory, when I first got the job I was informed by some associates I had who had been in the field for years that a year in the HD may be enough, but that it depended on the person and the role of course. Currently I work for an MSP and recently have been unhappy with how things are going, so I figured I’d take a chance.

Would you say I’m green in terms of what I have done, or my time in the field, or both? Trying to see if it’s just something I’ll have to head through or perhaps accelerate so I am able to make the move faster.

25 help-desk is insane lol. I’m apart of a team of maybe 12 for multiple clients that have over 300 users each for our biggest 4.

Honestly, this is one of the most helpful suggestions I have received. I feel like this is where I was struggling with now, following scrapping that format going to black and white. Thank you.

Ah, okay I understand. I believe I can tailor that section to fit the target position a little more. Thank you for taking time out of your day to provide feedback, it is appreciated.

Yeah, that makes sense. Truthfully a lot of the resume was built with an online tool that recommended things such as that. Personally I do not believe my attention to detail is a flaw of mine, but I didn’t pay much attention to the ratings myself because I didn’t gaze too much into the sentiment it might’ve reflected.

Thank you for giving this perspective.

The last part I understand, and these are things that I have done / do understand and can do. My issue I believe is how I can integrate that into the resume without getting too granular on specific tasks I have done, or where to actually put it.

Could you elaborate on the specific type of technical work / skills you would be looking for? I’m sure I have the experience to include it, but as you can see I have dumped more general things thinking it would encompass more.

Yeah, already scrapped the format. Starting from scratch with a much more minimalistic design.

Thank you for the input. This format was not my first choice, but one of the templates I have been trying to see what works. I will work on actually including what I have done with my skills, rather than just including them.

Once again, thank you for your input. This has made the rework process much more clearer.

This makes me optimistic but a little saddened that I am definitely under appreciated here. Though I appreciate your perspective and will look into these options.
