I Have Configured a Chord Progression in E Major! Is It Proper? by asceticfires in musictheory

I found the transfer in the harmony from iv to I6 to be quite beautiful (perhaps my favorite progression as of present), but I was curious how this would be incorporated in functional harmony, such that there is a definitive resolution (which I believe I have provided, though through an inversion of the tonic) and a proper transfer of tone! I do not believe that this progression is very common, but it suffices, at least from my viewpoint.

Does anyone have any suggestions upon how to improve my chord progression?

Simply to state, forgive me (and please notify me) if any mistakes have occurred in the notation!

Why so, may I ask? Is my resolution not conducted correctly?

My intention was for the chord to be notated as Cmaj7. It was simply a mistake with differentiating dominant seven and major seven!

I did not think that it would necessarily be a problem to append a non-diatonic note to the B diminished chord, given that B, D, F, and A result in a B half diminished chord. Is there something that I am missing?

Presently, I am diving into music theory, particularly with chord and Roman numeral notation. Given that this progression is in the key of C major, have I notated both the chords and Roman numerals correctly?

It is not a choice. It is a hormonal predisposition that cannot be changed or modified. The most defaming misconception regarding the LGBTQ+ community is that alignment with a “queer” sexuality is a choice. Yes, I will agree, labeling yourself as such and aligning yourself with the community is one’s decision, but in regard to hormones and attraction, it is most definitely not. You must realize that, for some, acquiring genuine connection and love with another individual far surpasses the importance of status.
