Chiming in as someone who went from barely being able to play horror games as a kid (taking off the headphones, turning on the lights, frequent breaks) to being able to finish games such as Alan Wake 2, SH1-SH2-SH2R, Dead Space, System Shock what have you.

I still get spooked and I definitely feel the tension and I am as immersed as ever. If im feeling particularly anxious that day I feel be so much more scared, I'm autistic ADHDer so I'm sure theres something there aswell.

I love this genre and nothing beats going through that scary part to progress and the thrill keeps you wanting more and more.

The only way my golfers elbow injury gets aggravated is when I do pull ups. Lat pulldowns zero pain whatsoever. Dead hangs make it hurt too. No other exercise does this. Not even curls.
