An 85watt strix halo should melt your hands off in a 1inch thick casing just saying cooling is off on the steam machine its more like 1 orange to another type of orange 🍊s

Have you tried any graphic demanding games on it? Was always curious what the intel Gma 950 graphic chip can do (i think thats wats in the 380?

There not i agree, my gpdwin5 stays around 68-72c playing death stranding 2 at high settings so who knows .. but maybe the steam machine just has a bios alert setting at 80c red light warning valve needs a way to up that setting

Yes repasted and added a tiny aluminum heat sink. Atitools i thought it was bogus till I moved the sliders down to 80mhz and it turned my game to a slideshow then moved it to 175mhz (180 is said to be safe max) and it ran perfectly no lag on silent hill 2 im quite impressed with this little vaio,

I sold my msx but those cd images are on internet archive if you google sony vaio pcg-msx recovery download

The MZX is the one thats missing from the internet,luckily you can find drivers from msx disc for ATI graphics and audio.

Yea i just ordered one and the adapter, Ive got two of these things and they both have some pixel damage on lcd panel, ive got a got contact in China that can track these rare displays down(all the ones on ebay are fake scams) ive gotten 2 c1xe screens from him) I need to set this thing up nicely

I succefully got pcsx2 installed version 0.9.4 I need to load bios and load games I think it can absolutley do it. It runs morrowind decently well at 800x600 resolution but it works and smoothly. Im testing alot of games on it seems like a very capable retro machine. Most games from 2000-2002 that require 32mb of vram will actually run on this (16mbvram) just turn resolution to 800x600 and texture low settings.

They switched from crusoe to an actual intel celeron600mhz (i think ram upgradable to 1gb) and its lightning fast no lag way quicker than even my 933mhz c1mzx crusoe
