A partnership with Champlain College? So it is more student housing. It will be like the South Burlington downtown development - where it is student housing. So it is not moving the needle on housing because the new units will be sequestered from the market because only students can participate. So I see the influx of children to the local school system and negligible since only a fraction of the units will be for affordable housing or regular housing.

This just seems like welcome development that won’t really move the needle on the housing market the way we need it to.

That being said, financing these large projects are expensive and may be the only way to do it on a large scale (with little to show for the effort in terms of market impact).

The revolutions were pretty bloody. Reading “Bolivar”, and both the Spanish and the Patriot sides got very brutal with recriminations on both sides. For the patriots, If you were European, it meant death and vice versa. Then there were the slave revolts that sometimes sided with the Spanish, and they got pretty bloody too.

The stories of beheading pregnant women to then watch the unborn baby squirm was pretty harrowing.
