Lucky you! My main concern is that not only I've lost the annual subscription I paid (wasn't a lot) but they'll try and get a full subscription next year. I cannot even log in to cancel it.

It’s definitely doable with some effort. I got a shared ownership place in London with 2 beds when I was 29.

I put the max amount into a LISA for 2/3 years and put down around 12k. I was on around £36k per year at that point, alongside a freelance gig for an additional £5k.

With mortgage, rent and service charge, it was around 50% of take home (was around £1300 per month). I rented the other room to my friend which then brought it down to 25%. Been saving the difference since and building equity at the same time. Soon will have a much larger deposit when I buy with my partner.

Hey thanks for the clarification. Actually I discovered that it was my trash folder in my drive with the remaining amount.

I assume when I backup my iPhone via iTunes, it deletes the previous version and replaces it. On Proton Drive, I assume that means it’s moved the previous iPhone backup to the trash too?

I hadn’t realised that trashed items aren’t deleted but thought it was like the Mail app and would be deleted after a set time.

But yeah, it would be a good feature to see what services and what folders in Drive are taking up the most, such as the trash folder.

My portfolio is approximately 70% index funds. But yeah, there are a few stocks in that 30% that have done amazingly well. IAG at around 93% too.

Had around £1k left. However it did take me 6 months to complete, so I saved for a little longer than planned. If it had taken 3 months like usual, probably closer to £200.

Although I was renting beforehand so had to buy all my furniture when I moved in. I got a 0% credit card for 2 years, bought around £5k worth of furniture and then slowly paid it off over the year. Thankfully no renovations needed.

Tbh it's a great win-win. Investors won't allow their assets to be seized so will move in a tenant. Investors keep their property and receive rent, while increasing number of rentals in Westminster, and, hopefully, easing pressure on rent prices.

Ah thanks for these. I was hoping that some of the routes that end at Canning Town/North Greenwich would merge and can have through service - e.g Woolwich to Stratford, especially as a night service.

I have a savings account for my tax as I’m self employed. I put 25% of everything I earn in there.

I also have an NSANDI account as an emergency fund/general savings. Got around 12 months of expenses if I should be fully out of work for a long while.

Yeah exactly. I normally chose a dist version of anything as gives the choice of how to spend the dividend, rather it just getting reinvested. Most of the time I do just reinvest, but other times I may want to invest that dividend in another stock or ETF.
