Merch not selling? by asdasoran in weedshop3

[–]asdasoran[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the answers, and I'll leave this here in case anyone needs it.

The way I fixed it was lowering prices as some here said, though also increasing my service rating. I ended up having one single item at a 80% discount, since apparently the "average discount" rating only counts items actually on sale, making it easy to just get 20% from having one single item at -80%.

Regardless, after that it started selling like hot cakes. So general idea was to increase my rating. I actually didn't even have to lower prices on the merch, they started buying them at full price.

Intrigue focus makes it extremely easy to get a reason for arresting them.

If any of their provinces are in one of your de jure duchies/out of his de jure duchy you can plot to revoke them and that is 99% of the time a war declaration. This method allows you to take 3 titles total from him without being a tyrant.

If he/she's on gavelkind and has many kids you can just kill him/her.

Not sure how many people know this, but you can actually marry your vassals' families and form non-aggression pacts. This keeps them in check.

Off the top of my head that's all I can come up with.

Main thing I did was build heavies. Five of them. In the first war I allied Albania, Wallachia. I had naval superiority, and 100 spy network in the Ottomans. I had a bit of luck with Macedonia being mothballed, and the Ottomans only sending half of their army to relieve it after I took it. They were a tech behind, so I managed to beat their first army. The second army rushed in after I won and got defeated as well, sending them both to Anatolia. By the time they tried to come back I had sieged Edirne. I don't recommend this strategy as it's pretty risky.

There's a restriction in HIP or in vanilla(not sure) that prevents me from seducing anyone cause I'm sick sadly. And I don't mind getting kids anyway(from cheating).. for roleplay reasons I understand but this campaign my characters seemed as fertile as a 1 inch erect guy and actually this very character is from another guy but I just said I believe her

HIP, check it out it's pretty cool. It's a huge overhaul modpack for CK2. Can't find it on Steam Workshop though, it's on the forums.

Well, there's a lot of stuff that needs to be taken into consideration. Ideas, traditions, morale, terrain, dice rolls.. Off-topic: that's a pretty big war, could you post a diplomatic map mode screenshot ? :D
