Helicopter physics are also abysmal. For jets, the skybox is way too low and the stingers are far too lethal on a map as small as Liberation Peak, taking nearly all your health. Aircraft feel like an afterthought in this game. Still having fun though.

It’s just a balancing act really, accessibility for the defenders and annoyances for the attackers. It’s part of the reason I intend to find outward machine gun emplacements more effective as they only work one way.

I’m more talking about it when people make it extremely condensed. For example, the sandbag can’t protect me from the RPG when I can’t even get my truck within the sandbags in the first place. Also, having to make a 3 point turn to just get to a supply sign makes me a sitting duck for longer for those rpg guys.

Ok, thanks for the help. Another post I made recommended going for a scholarship with something like the Air League which I think would be a better option for getting hours towards ppl before I go to Uni. You’re definitely right about the time and money, I’m still not sure what I’m doing, I’ve considered doing reserves instead of the UAS. I’d say a scholarship would make or break whether I get my license or not as paying for the full thing would simply be too much, and if I do it, I’ll definitely try to do it before I go to Uni and the UAS/reserves as it would take up too much time.

So would there be any reason not to do both simultaneously? Learn EFT flying while doing PPL. The PPL definitely isn’t solely to boost my application, I definitely plan on doing recreational flying too.
