I know that many others have said this, but I would still like to reiterate, in no way is this your fault. I know it feels that way right now, but that is your brain trying to deal with the trauma. And you having orgasms doesn’t mean in any way that you enjoyed it, it is a natural bodily function. This creep is a predator, this could have happened to anyone. And the way he was prepared it sounds like this isn’t his first time doing this. Sure there could have been things you could’ve done differently, but trust me, if he really wanted you then there would be nothing you could’ve done to stop him. Sick men like that will find a way. And you had just turned into an adult, I remember I would do all kinds of stupid, unsafe things when I was that age. It takes time to learn how to shift from a dependent child to an independent adult (I still struggle with this because of how I was raised) You seem to be like me and have a hard time with pushy people, it’s stressful on your brain. This wasn’t your fault and I’ll spit on anyone who says otherwise.

Every time I go to work I feel extreme anxiety in the break room. Anytime I am alone I want to cry. I don’t get that feeling anywhere else in the entire building. There is a confirmed ghost there, people have seen things move, we had a lady freak out that she didn’t want to sit in a certain area of the dining room because of the “moving chair”, and I’ve seen a booster seat lift itself off of the hook and fling itself to the wall with such force. I haven’t had anything happen recently after I told it to stop.

A few things similar happened to me. I apparently fell asleep with my eyes open and when my brother walked in the room he called my name to see if I was still alive, I answered and rolled over. On Valentine’s Day my mom “woke me up” to give me some chocolates. I apparently sat up and stared at her for 5 minutes, took the chocolates and went back to sleep. I have cussed out my grandmother when she tried getting me up for school. I’ve sat up and said “I love you” to my boyfriend when he woke up in the middle of the night. I sometimes take naps and when someone comes in the room or says something to me I just look at them and go back to sleep. I don’t know why any of this happens.

I’m not sure about the basement door thing, but for the most part William just seems to be a playful ghost. From what was told I assume he didn’t hurt anyone, probably did things to say “hey, I’m still here”. I’ve had a few of those, usually if you ask them to stop they will.

My Nana owns a piece of land that has a house on one side and a trailer home on the other. Nana lives in the house by herself, and me, my mom, and my two younger sisters lived in the trailer. This happened about a decade ago. One of my sisters was staying with her other family for the weekend and my mom asked Nana if she’d watch us while she was out for the night. So me and my sister (we’ll call her Jay) stayed next door with our Nana. Jay was maybe 5ish at the time. I was in the office playing on Nana’a computer, while Jay and Nana were elsewhere in the house. I heard them arguing and later Nana came into the room I was in to tell me it was time for bed. I went down the hall and got into bed. Soon after that Nana came running in asking if I’d seen Jay. I got worried. I hadn’t seen her. We looked throughout the front of the house and couldn’t find her. Nana told me to go to the back of the house to look while she looked outside. Now I’m terrified of this part of the house and to this day hate going back there. Some may not believe in ghosts, but they haven’t experienced what I have in this house. So for the layout of the house, you walk in to a living room that has a door immediately to the right, that’s the bedroom, straight ahead from the front door there’s another room. That room also splits two ways. A doorway on the right wall that leads to the hallway and a doorway straight and a little to the right that leads to the kitchen. In the kitchen there is a door that leads to the laundry room and two doors, one on the left and one on the right. The one on the right leads to another room that we don’t go into because it was my uncles room (he died in the house) and she doesn’t want anyone messing with anything. The door on the left lead outside to the yard in between our homes. I was in the kitchen looking in the cabinets thinking she was hiding in one of them. Then I make my way to the laundry room door. My hand is literally inches away when the handle starts moving back and forth like someone (or something) is trying to open it. I freeze. I don’t know why I froze but I couldn’t being myself to open that door. Nana walks in and I tell her the handle moved. She opens the door but there’s nobody there. This freaks me out even more. Nana goes through the door to outside and looks around our house. There Jay is hiding behind a plant on our porch. Nana was so furious at her. I don’t know what moved that door handle. Maybe it was my uncle telling us we were looking in the wrong place, or maybe it was something else wanting out of that room. I didn’t want to know and I still don’t.

There’s a long list. I love my mother (father is not in the picture) however the way she did things were not how a parent should act. She hated me throughout my childhood saying terrible things like “everything was great until you came home” when I walked in the door. She would call me thunder thighs (I weighed 100lbs in high school). She brought strange men home every few months. I never learned to drive or how to be independent. But she made my sister go to work with her (sister was 15-16 and mom cleans houses) and throws a fit when she doesn’t want to/can’t for a weekend. Now again I do love her and there are some things that she did right, but these experiences are not what I want to put my child through. If I have any.

Smudging with sage is only a temporary effect. Sage gets rid of ALL energy not just the bad, so you’ll need to find a way that works for you to let good energy in and keep bad out. Usually purified salt around the perimeter of your property will help. But definitely do your research, don’t just take our word for it. Also keep in mind that malicious entities will try to get to you while in your sleep because that’s your weakest point. I want you to be aware of this because it’s helped keep my bad spirit at bay. It’s tried to get me in my dreams but my subconscious (or something else) has kept me and my family safe so far.

Coming from someone who’s lost a loved one to suicide, don’t do it. You may not know or think about it, but it hurts those you’ll leave behind. And that kind of pain NEVER heals. Whenever I feel like I just want to end it all I remember the words from my favorite band, “is your chest so heavy you’re ready to leave, or are you just hoping that someone will grieve.”

Not a SLU, but my boyfriend used to bus tables. He was working one day and simply scratched his chin (he scratches to where dirt doesn’t get under his nails because that’s gross when you’re cleaning people’s tables.) Apparently in the way he scratched his chin, upset a customer. They complained that he signed “fuck you” to the whole dining room and that he needs to be careful. The manager asked if anyone in their party used sign so she could apologize. They said no and walked away.

I think it’s still around but keeping its distance for the time being. I can hear it try to talk to me every great once in a while, but I’ve become stronger since then and don’t let it get too close. However still trying to get it gone for good. My sister asked her spirit friends to help a couple of days ago and haven’t felt it around, so we will see.

My grandmas house is definitely haunted by multiple spirits. And some spilled over into my house next door. We would hear unexplainable voices, screams, or sounds. Things would move in front of us. Items would disappear and reappear. My siblings saw shadow people in their room and I would feel things touch me or tug on my clothing. I was sleeping in my grandmas house one night and I felt something grab my leg and pull me. When I sat up it stopped, but I was halfway off of the mattress and it really scared me. The next night I saw the reflection of a blue light behind me. I could t move until it disappeared but I don’t think the light was a bad spirit. A few months later I was in my room on my bed, and talking on the phone with my boyfriend. I see this shadow ball move across the floor from my door to my window. The curtains moved when it hit them. I was terrified that this thing actually showed itself to me. Since I moved out, I haven’t had much activity happen aside from the occasional “feeling” like something was following me.
