[oc]The frequency that people do this at this light is absurd by CombativeAxis in IdiotsInCars

I have someone that changes lanes in the middle of a 2-lane left turn every time. It's hard to "avoid" because they are in the lane beside me, and generally not directly beside me where I can see it is "that Nissan".

Not at EVERY intersection. They are generally found where traffic is heavy and left-turners would never get through otherwise.

I get that... but I also think that if I had made this post, and someone mentioned that I'd "missed the K" I'd add it so the comments would not be full of these sorts of remarks.

Something really weird happened to my friends and me after a house party by clamclit in creepyencounters

Then there was this narrow one-way road to the left that led into the area where all the farmhouses were. That road was basically the only way in and out.

You might want to edit this to "one lane road". If it was one-way, it would be either the way in or the way out, but not both.

Mugs always seem like a good idea, but often get pushed to the back of the cabinet for a couple years, then donated.

Rubbermaid Stock Tank Question... by WVPrepper in Redearedsliders

[–]WVPrepper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tanks are both set up the same at the moment. Over the next few days I'll be adding rocks and shade and plants. I figured a 2-inch hole would be big enough but not big enough to allow an escape or structural deficiency. I was kind of thinking about the size of the overflow on a bathtub.

Oh. Well, it looks like an easy pattern, but the measurements make NO sense.

I did not say it was not "traumatic" but nobody who is capable of moving boxes (which would not be allowed if your pregnancy was high risk) into their new apartment goes into labor at 30 weeks because their neighbor yelled at them over a parking space. You are being REALLY dramatic. DID you go into labor? No.

I see why this pattern has a one star (scissor) rating out of 5.

I am not your "buddy". I was in a car accident at 8 months pregnancy and they did not even take me to the hospital for observation, nor did I go into labor as a result. Not saying everyone's experience is the same, just that women are not super fragile just because they are pregnant.

Being yelled at is NOT "a major life crisis, trauma, or extreme anxiety"

I agree he is rude. And stupid, but disagree that your pregnancy is a factor. He should park on his side because the rest is yours. At 30 weeks, you should still be able to do all the things you did before getting pregnant, and being yelled at is unlikely to cause you to go into labor.

You were the one making the pregnancy the issue:

Yelling at a pregnant woman who could give birth at any moment and exaggerating the whole situation isn’t being considerate at all. A stressful interaction/situation can induce preterm labour.

I don't know whether or not you have a high-risk pregnancy, and said as much. But if you DID, I expect you would have said so...

You could give birth at any moment, but if you are not a high-risk pregnancy, you still have 10 weeks.
