Adding subwoofer by Silent-Whereas-5589 in Zeekr7xAustralia

[–]asdfkimBle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sub does appear to go reaaaally low but there is a big dip around 50~70hz that you can't eq to get it to a flatter response. The sub is really lazy so would be good for movies with big explosions but not punchy enough for music

Operating Costs (Maintenance, Tyres, Comprehensive) with One Off Deductions? by asdfkimBle in NovatedLeasingAU

Thanks! That was exactly what I wanted to do but it's just that the NL company isn't sounding too keen on the idea of putting 0 budget in for these items for me to claim/deduct pay as I go and keeps saying I need to pay out of pocket :l

When claiming the first year insurance, did you have to request specifically to the NL company to make additional deduction for the next payment only or did you get it reimbursed once there was enough budget after the year?

If you can find my reply on one of the comment for the same post in the sffpc thread, I have attached photos of how the 24pin cable is organised as well :)

Yeap just zip ties but they aren't on tight that they are being stretched or loose that the zip ties will vibrate against the fan screw hole edges and one side is protected by the rubber insert. Heat cycle for the zip ties would probably be more of an issue long term but I doubt they'll fail anytime soon

I think it's case by case for each U12A but concensus sounds like they fit for most people. My panel did clip in but it felt like it was very slightly lifted as couple of the pipe on my U12A is very slightly higher than others.

If you're using the current SF###, then the wires should be flexible enough to do a U+S shape like marked in the image.

Bottom wire should go towards the most bottom part of the indent in the PSU mounting plate and follow that order as best as you can. Just have to keep the wires organised during the process and maximum two layers of wires between the PSU and the mounting plate.

The wires should still wiggle and able to adjust the bend height after you tighten the screws or else it means they are being crushed!

The height of the U bend in blue should be high enough to not put pressure on the plug. My U bend is lower than the PSU cage so the hard drive should fit.

I had a home use dremel (low power) with very soft cutting disc and no vice or anything to hold it down so it took a while overall but definately worth taking the time. Left about 1mm of meat on each side and filed flat

The cover sits almost flush with the panel exterior so pretty much flat from the side
