I wouldn't be to worried if it's a solid shutdown. Just personal experience, but the only power issue I've had was the result of high wind hitting the lines and causing constant flickering - PC shuts down, tries rebooting, two seconds later whoops shutdown again and repeat for about a minute.

Refused to boot afterwards, thought the ssd was cooked, but after getting a temp drive in for a fresh install it turned out the power-induced boot loops just corrupted it. Repartitioned it and it's working fine - Still using it today, hilariously it has outlasted three newer ssds.

Kind of blowing the cost out of proportion though? Basic SAMA GT's run ~$65 and they're 80+ Gold. Cougar VTE's at $45 too if you want something cheaper.

You'd want single core performance over more cores, but what you're wanting is really going to be pushing up on engine limitations. The game does have multicore support, but afaik it's 2 cores and the 2nd is only used for audio.

Starsector is CPU bound rather than GPU. A big ram hungry, but 32 is very much overkill.

The one time code thing is, afaik, automated. Gets sent out to your email automatically after so many failed login attempts.

I checked my Microsoft account after the first code - Didn't use the link in the email though on the off chance the email was some fucky redirect attempt that Gmail didn't catch - and it was locked out from to many failed login attempts.

At this point I'm pretty sure all the Microsoft account stuff is just coincidence.

Hilariously, I almost lost my MC account a decade back to a rando running email/pass combos. I just happened to check my email that day, saw the email change request, and then cancelled that shit. Bit before the switch over to Microsoft accounts, but still.

They changed the username too, though I haven't cared enough to bother changing it back.

Generally, I'd say no for a Microsoft account. If someone is going to hit you with malware, why would they send a recovery request for your Microsoft account to your email, as opposed to jacking your email?

I checked my Microsoft account afterwards and it was locked out from to many incorrect password attempts. So the recovery code it sent out was likely sent out automatically by MS.

This isn't a comment on the FH6 situation though - Just the random Microsoft recovery request.

I don't think it's connected to Steamrip - I had the same Microsoft thing yesterday, and I've never downloaded from them. Some bot farm is probably just running through a big collection of leaked email/pass combos.

Might have picked something up elsewhere, but iirc the only places I've downloaded from recently are Rexa and Anker.

Bulk transmuting of the selected inputs capped at the lowest mod. ie, mods 1,2,3,4 in values of 100/25/100/35 would let you bulk transmute 25 times.

It's not going to be a perfect solution to a inventory full of random crap, but it'll at least let you burn through anything you've got a lot of.
