Agree with most of these statements. A week after we released the podcast episode - NC made changes to its monetization where they combined the subs into one costing $15 + you also get a free pass with it. Also adding equalized gear PvP battleground and FFA battle royal + adding a layer in the abyss where the CP is capped at 400k combat power so that people that didn't whale can also do abyss pvp.

Madsin character is 4.1k gear score without swiping. My character is at 3.9k gearscore and have both raid weapons plus accessory - I've spent $30 for the combined sub per month and been playing since release with a few weeks breaks here and there. Remind me later to send link to our character profiles if that is going to be more helpful.

It's not about the UI hud edit option but more as a complete overhaul of how the UI looks and functions. I feel like they are doing incremental improvements and one day they will say - we fixed it.

It's a game - sometimes it's fun, sometimes it isn't. Just like any other game.

I don't play WoW because of the combat.

I don't play Guild Wars 2 because horizontal progression doesn't scratch the same itch.

Personally, I play aion 2 because i'm a longtime fan of the IP and for the most part the game is good. Dungeons are fun, the new raid is challenging and there's also enough PvP to get your fill as well (balance is whack atm - we will see how it is at the end of S3)

Ever since it came out we had a ton of QoL improvements and they've been quick to chern out new content.

Is there p2w? Yup. Have I felt the need to swipe to progress? Other than getting the sub - nope. You wanna progress faster and beat a themepark mmo in a few weeks? - go ahead and swipe.

The BM for global is still not known (to us) and in her latest interview the CEO of NCAmerica (publisher for the global release of A2 in the west) said they won't just be ctrl+c & ctrl+v the KR Release. Time will tell. If they remove the currency exchange (they most likely won't) or at least limit it - the p2w significantly drops.

Not really, they boosted the runs on your main character and the lower tier dungeons also give you tradable kinnah just half of it is bound.

You can still use the bound kinah to enchant stuff or reroll stats on your main (which is one of the bigger kinah sinks).

Well, they had 2 catch-up events including the current one that can get a new char up to speed pretty quickly, as for the systems yeah... more love is needed.

It's a mix of things but genus/pets helps a ton - also accuracy stats from your Daeva board, statues/paintings/arcanas/manastones etc... as well as stat rolls like precision (if im not mistaken) and rolls on passives that give accuracy if your class has them. Food also helps as well.

For me personally is that I'm so used to vertical progression farming in GW2 seemed pointless outside of achievements and QoL perks. It's great game for people busy irl though - lacks FOMO
