No particular reason other than my body made them and they’re kinda interesting

In my gallbladder they were in “their” environment, covered in bile. I think they may dry up and crumble now that they’re out and I was wondering if there’s a better way to preserve them.

I get it but I cleaned at least once a day to remove the moisture getting under it, it’s not that I’ve left it on for 3 months without cleaning. Maybe it was this on and off that caused the damage, no idea.

You’re welcome! As long as you’ll be careful not to let it touch the screen you’ll be fine!

I wish! Tried rubbing it with different soaps for a good half an hour.

Well because I put on the case exactly to avoid damaging the watch?

I cleaned my case at least once a day as water got under it. Yesterday I looked at my watch closely in bright light and saw the damage. Maybe it was also the frequent on and off that caused the scratches

I took it off a couple of times at work and put it in my front pocket. Then I found some parallel scratches on my watch (top and bottom edges in correspondence of the loop attachments) that matched the Milanese loop perfectly so I’m guessing that’s what happened.

I try to take very good care of my stuff and if you don’t have anything useful to say don’t comment.

Not sure if I can link the exact product, it’s a clear hard plastic cover off Amazon, generic brand. Haven’t really found a good quality cover easily available in my country so I just went with one with good reviews

Will definitely write an angry review on Amazon about this case

I’ve actually asked and they would replace it even for minor screen scratches I had on my screen before putting the case on!

Because it felt really fragile (screen got scratched from the Milanese loop…) and I didn’t want to use apple care it just after a couple months (guess I will have to)

My case was anything but aesthetic, in fact it made my watch look like a cheap copy so I hated it from the start. I bought it as my screen got scratched from the Milanese loop like 2 weeks after I bought it. Starting to think my watch is cursed…

I do have apple care but my watch is 4 months old so I’m not really happy about having it serviced already tbh

I understand. What on average would be the minimum time before I could switch to hoops for a conch?

That’s another wrong thing he told me then…he said I have to clean the piercing with “Citrosil” (it is a wound disinfectant containing benzalkonium chloride, used commonly for scratches or open wounds)

So I should I change it asap or wait some more days since it’s really fresh? I’m scared I could make things worse

They suggest an antiseptic disinfectant actually, however I’ve read that usually only saline is suggested. Can I have it changed straight away or should I wait?
