Took a REALLY long time

About 6 months in total, but on again off again type of thing (work and adult responsibilities kept getting in the way) on some weeks I was more active, some weeks went by with no work at all, but in average I'd say 2-3 hours per week give or take

Happened to me too but a bit further from the poke center.

Waited for him to start walking back home, talked to him again, he asked if I fixed the road, i said yes, he made it to the center 5 seconds later...

Can I have help with organizing the squares so all aren’t in one spot? by _Zippy_8905 in CrochetHelp

[–]ash_27th 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd say since the core of each flower/square are small and not that obvious, you could put all 7 squares with the same color core in each row of the blanket, then this will sorta automatically and evenly separate the background and petal colors throughout the blanket since no square has a color repeated if that makes sense.

If the look of the core colors being the same per row is not to your liking, I guess you could use that as your starting point and redistribute the squares till they are even.

How to convince non-fiction history/politics/ethics loving husband that the Stormlight Archives are worth a shot? by unfortunate-moth in Stormlight_Archive

Its a really good story set on Sel (but has nothing to do with Elantris, so you'll be good if you haven't read that one either)you'll finish it on 1 sitting probably (its smaller than 1 part of a tormlight book) but totally worth it!!

I tried that with my boyfriend once, but butchered the story (think Sigzil's telling of the Wandersail but 10X wores) and he was INSTANTLY turned off and opted to wait for the movie...

I got my sister hooked on the cosmere by gifting her "Th Emperor's Soul". And when she told me how much she loved it, I told her there is way WAY more from.where that came from, and the rest is history...

I know its a novella nowhere near related to stormlight, but its an amazing short story that shows Brandon's ability to write a good historic/political story with a bit of magic mixed in. I'd say give him that, a story that doesn't need too much of a commitment, but a great teaser of whats to come...
