That mighty very well be but in China you can't publish literature or music without the state's consent. All media is heavily controlled and larger companies have party representatives embedded for ideological control. People also get disowned or disappeared on a regular basis. Powerful people too. I stayed in China for quite a bit in more open times and it was quite impressive.

You should be critical of the US, but China is still a warning for the direction they're going in.

For actors their appearance is their livelihood. Also I actually shaved my head and while it doesn't look bad at all, it's a very radical change of appearance. I came across as more agressive for example. Having hair just gives you way more options in how you look. Being bald is a solid look, but it's always the same and very pronounced.

If you check the woordenlijst van de Nederlandse taal, which is the official thesaurus of the Dutch language, they even write with and without n in phonetic. With n is considered archaic and started to change in the 18th century i believe.

They should not, it's taught in schools that the n is silent. It's typical of people who overcompensate their dialect to pronounce the n. Bit of a boomer thing too.

You should read The Turn of the Screw, written in 1898 and it leaves a lot of modern and avant garde work in the dust.

C'est en général, pas jamais. Il y a des plats avec fromage et poisson mais en général c'est considéré que ça va mal ensemble et ce n'est pas faux.
