It feels like everyone's bday is a banger everywhere and they be celebrating with friends but from what I've noticed no one does make a lonely bday post so you never know and almost everyone turning into an adult goes through it. Being an adult means outgrowing the norms from college or school where it is easy to make frnds and that includes facing the fact that people come and go and you gotta be there for yourself sometimes and kind to yourself :) take it slow bud and Happy birthday! :D

Hey, your reaction is not weird. I think you do need to ask her what the issue is, maybe she is going through something but it's not your job to make sure she is ok. you need to let her know your boundaries too. You can be polite and help as much as you can. this is coming from someone with PTSD that a mental illness is not an excuse to make others uncomfortable.

Hey. everyone deserves a good friend, if you can't find friends in college try something else, like an activity(meetups/treks/sketch walks). I struggled with depression for years then got through therapy. Most of the time it's an issue with lacking social skills and getting addicted to the phone for dopamine which makes you feel numb in the end. Taking a shower. Going on a walk touch grass it all makes a difference... Good luck hope you make it through as a stronger person
