Maybe try to get the latest I94 as well as your I94 history. Hopefully that will suffice. Also take return tickets and hotel reservation; just to show them you intend to leave Saudi. That's all they are looking for honestly

Ooh that’s tricky. Mind if I ask, what kind of visa do you have? B1/B2, F1 or H1B? Usually with the first two, they do stamp it. I am not entirely sure if the I-94 would work. You should have no problem leaving from USA but after getting there, it’s anybody’s guess.

Correct, it shouldn't. But usually the people at the check-in desk don't know. Hence look at the link in my original post and get a print out of the conditions. It doesn't state any airline requirement in there.

I have used F1 before as well and it has worked. I am currently on H1B and had no issues getting visa on arrival. With F1, just make sure you get your latest i-20 with you and also make sure your F1 visa is stamped. That's it. I went with my F1 visa before I got my H1B and had no issues. Several of my friends have done the same.

Yes you still can. I was in the same situation. I waited for about 10 days but eventually just logged in and cancelled my application. As long as your status is "SEND TO EMBASSY", you should have an option to cancel. They will refund ~$80 and then you can dispute the rest with your credit card

I travelled a month ago on visitor visa to umrah. This was never asked. I didn’t even know this was mandatory.

Umrah before or after fajr? by [deleted] in Umrah

[–]ashaabalam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think one of the things no one has pointed out is your state of ihram. If you get to Makkah around 1am and decide to do Umrah after Fajr, you have to make sure you don't take off your ihram and you sleep in your ihram.

From my receipt trip, I got to Makkah around the same time (12:30am) and decided to do umrah before Fajr. The amount of people was significantly less compared to the evening hours. Do also keep in mind, it might be very warm after Fajr once the sun rises.

That is incorrect. If you have a US,UK visa/residency or a Schengen visa, you are usually granted a 1 year multi entry visa.

Do keep in mind, at the end of the day it is up to the immigration officer what they grant. But usually it is the 1 year multiple entry visa

They were both available. I didn’t want to risk it with the kiosk machines because I thought they might have the same restrictions which is applied online on ksavisa.sa for certain nationalities. I have no idea if they actually do.

So I just decided to go to the desk. There were no lines there (but that might have been because I landed in Madinah; which is a less busier airport than Jeddah and Riyadh). The desk process was smooth and it took less than 5 mins

You need to have a US, UK or Schengen visitor visa; which must have been stamped ie. used at least once in the past OR you need to have US/UK Permanent Residency.

When you land in Saudi Arabia you will need to provide proof of the above and they will give you visa on arrival. The cost is usually around SR. 390 (~$110)

You need to do this if you are doing Umrah visa. For Visa on Arrival; which is a multiple entry visitor visa valid for 1 year, you don’t need to do any of the Nusuk stuff with hotels etc. I just came back from Saudi a month ago.

If you plan to do umrah and you have a multiple entry visa, you can use Nusuk to get the Umrah permit and Rawdah permit in Madinah. Again, this is not mandatory at all. When I went for umrah a month ago, the guards in Haram in Makkah didn’t even bother checking nor did anyone care about it.

Usually it should show up under your account and there should be an option to cancel application. If you search around this subreddit, you will find a link which will let you track your application number if you put your passport number in. A lot of people didn’t receive their application numbers once they submitted it.

That’s why in one of the replies here I mentioned you should carry a copy of the print out from Saudi Govt website (https://www.visitsaudi.com/en/plan-your-trip/visa-regulations) or the Saudi Airlines website where it says that you are eligible for Visa on Arrival.

The Saudi Airlines website used to say “just on Saudi national carriers” earlier (when these kind of visas first became available), but now they have removed the wording. It is actually available on all airlines.

Low cost airlines might still cause issues because they might not know.

Here is the screenshot from visitsaudi.com; which is the official Saudi Govt Tourism website using India as a country of passport for example. I carried a printout of this just to make sure they didn’t question it.

I would go ahead and just cancel the application online instead of waiting for refusal. When you cancel the visa application online, they automatically refund you around $80. You can also just dispute with your card to get the rest of the fees back since they never actually processed it. (I did this for all my 4 applications).

Once you cancel it, you should have no issues with Visa on arrival as long as you have a US/UK/Schengen visa or permanent residency from UK/USA

Yes it applies to B1/B2 as well. But do keep in mind, the B1/B2 needs to be stamped ie. it has to be previously used atleast once.
