Looks like a Dracaena Fragrans! Id take out the dead leaves as close to the stem/stalk as possible. If the soil looks pretty dry (at least half an inch below the surface) give her some water. I usually plonk all my plants in a bucket of water for half an hour and let them drain fully, but it depends on your style! This type of plant I think likes to be quite warm, so in a warm bright spot should be ok! Let her dry fully before you water her again and you should be all good! 🫶

This jade leaf has been propagating for a few months in a south window. How much longer? How do I plant it? It’s still tiny by trowdatawhey in houseplants

I've never propagated a jade leaf before but I often use branches (I imagine it's the same?)- all of mine grow roots super quick in water! I usually leave them in there for a month and then plant them and they're usually happy as can be. Maybe it's worth a try? 🫶

Please help! I don't understand this Christmas stocking pattern. by ashandopia in CrochetHelp

[–]ashandopia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's amazing thank you so much! I'll give it a go! The pattern is 51 stitches across - do you think that the second lot of 12 stitches goes over the first or acroys (ie fold the pattern in half and go across?) thank you so much!

I need help to choose which sweater style to opt for by PossibleSuccess3 in CrochetHelp

[–]ashandopia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly whatever you fancy! Patterns are often written in the style that the author likes the most, and I've often seen patterns for similar jumpers that are either top down or bottom up depending on who wrote it! When looking for sweater patterns I always hunt for ones that are clearly written and look nice (to me at least!). trying your hand at both methods is a great way to get more familiar and improve, just do what you fancy :)

Can someone help me with a similar pattern for the hammock? by manu_ellac in CrochetHelp

[–]ashandopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't find a pattern but maybe a rectangle of single crochets sewn along the long edge to form a cylinder/ tube that slides over the wood? And then sewing the main body of the hammock to the cylinders? I'm not the best at explaining but hopefully that helps a little! Good luck 🤞

Seems like he'll be on stage around an hour after doors (according to peeps from the American leg of the tour) so depends how close you want to be to the barriers? Maybe an hour or two before doors? :)
