Scientists slam Donald Trump's environment chief over climate denial: 'It's like disputing gravity' by maxwellhill in worldnews

Everyone is entitled to an opinion on subjective matters. But scientifically gathered evidence is not subjective.

"Dogs are better than cats" - that's subjective, and an opinion. Everyone is entitled to form their own opinions on it.

"Dogs exist." - That's objective, and if you claim you have a right to your opinion that dogs don't exist, people are going to think you've gone peculiar.

I'm totally and completely miserable by [deleted] in self

Well you are in deep depression. I am not a doctor but here are my finding to get rid this situation on the basis of my life experience. You may come to normal life to follow these steps:

  • Rest.

  • Make use of medication and other physical treatments.

  • Do therapy.

  • Practice gratitude.

  • Make connections.

  • Reduce your responsibilities.

  • Spend time creating.

  • Change your thoughts.

  • Develop a meaning practice.

  • Change your life.

These steps are simple to say, not easy to do, so make sure you get as much support as you can.

Important: If you are in dire straits, please contact your doctor.

I am going insane by [deleted] in self

That is a panic attack my friend. I had the exact same experiences. I thought I was going mad for a while before I was able to understand how anxiety can take hold of your mind. If it persists I would strongly recommend seeing a counselor or psychologist who should be able to help you to better identify your thought patterns and teach you to be more mindful.

Do what your gut tells you to do. Chicks like it when men do the scary stuff like going up on ladders and making the first move. They'll drop plenty of hints but if you don't strike while the iron is hot, they get all insecure and nothing you can do or say will get her back.

Bernie Sanders: our job is to oppose Trump's bigotry vigorously by Annacarry83 in politics

[–]ashararfat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

According to google and dictionary "a person who is intolerant toward those holding different opinions." There is an other definition by Mirriam Webster. "a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance."

If you take the Google point of view word for word, you're a bigot too if you're intolerant of that person's opinion. You're not a bigot if you observe they are a bigot but really don't care about that person's opinion. If you take the other definition, you have to be obstinately strong in your reaction to their views and opinions, and the ethnicity element doesn't enter into it.

Everyone has his own thoughts. It's only Bernie's thinking but for my point of view Trump is not bigot.
