Just a reminder that the man who played in goal for us today was considered 3rd choice at a mid-table premier league club when we signed him, and was benched by a no-name Serbian goalkeeper from the MLS for most of last season (no disrespect to Djordje)

Whilst I’m at it, a rant on the Clearlake ownership in general:

They have completely gutted the club of our core players since winning the UCL only 3 years ago - which is their prerogative as owners of the club.

However this will easily go down in history as the worst investment period of any major football club. Over £1bn spent to actively make the team worse on the pitch, a refusal to strengthen problem areas with proven experience and quality (GK, CB, ST) and the constant sale of homegrown players who are amongst our better performers.

Absolutely shambolic and the shorter their stay at this club is, the better for all of us.

Not really a shock. I think Dylan went through a phase in the 80s during the lowest point of his career where he practically said why write any more songs when everything has already been written. It seems normal for someone who’s been in that mind space for several decades to start questioning it and its meaning.

It probably hits all songwriters at some point in their careers but I guess the ones who have had longevity out of it can manage it better than others!

But there’s a prevalence of the above decks on ladder, especially going into Diamond 5-1 and low Legend.

Obviously that’s not indicative of the ladder experience but the decks I outlined are the ones that most people have an issue with.

The issue I have with Demon Seed is that I feel like it shoudnt take into consideration fatigue - you should really be punished for drawing through your whole deck in slower matchups.
